    Aha! Got the radio feed- from UND, so it's almost like being in English. I still get shivers playing DU, with Zucker and Drew Shore and that crew.... whew!

    It's so hard to pretend to be working right now-- trying to find an internet feed for the hockey game, and looking busy at the same time. Was up at 2AM a couple weeks ago, watching UND-Michigan- the only feed I could get was in Russian! Time to show the colours---

    Good morning! The rain sucks, but for me, it means the game didn't start at 3 AM! Now, I'm hoping that can is full of Central Division whoop-azzzz!

    That's a heck of a good AAA lineup. Hopefully a few of those guys can make the step this year. There's really not a position that someone of quality can't fill in if somebody in the big club gets dinged.

    Consider the lameness of the humour-- yes, it is past the witching hour- 1:22 AM. Haw! Actually got up at 6AM today, had a couple of buds over (Red Wings fans) for breakfast and mimosas and watching the Wings/Wild game- 730 AM start. Drunk by 8... and still ticking!

    Well, Ricky looks... hittable. Half paying attention, while multitasking, but I could sure HEAR those shots.

    Living in the Cities then, after years of following from the plains of ND, I was so incredibly excited that year, and really gassed at that particular trade. Even in the dark days of 82, and the tease of 84, you could see it coming with that group of kids, and then veteran pieces added, like Gladden, Reardon, and the return of Bert- it was a great mix. I remember the ads posted on the Strib news boxes- pic of Kirby with a caption "How the West is Won" I thought, walking around town, 'damn straight, here we come.' That was a magical year.
