  1. I have heard that they are one of the teams that could go way over, but I wouldn't be surprised if they spend at about their slot.
  2. http://www.gannett-cdn.com/-mm-/48490219ecb45dfdc7394e363d72ad00f93ab68b/c=0-162-3456-2754&r=x404&c=534x401/local/-/media/FortMyers/2014/11/03/twinsmolitorbasebalbuit.jpg Steve Senne, AP Early on Monday morning Terry Ryan heard loud clamoring outside his office at 1 Twins Way which he thought sounded like some unruly protestors, and upon getting up out of his chair he realized that he was right, but instead of being greeted by angry, old, white men shouting, "Make the bullpen great again!" or mourning the loss of Blaine Boyer or Doug Bernier he was met by a bunch of millennials. These people seemed to have taken a dislike to the Minnesota Twins' baseball hats which are adorned with the familiar TC logo, and were claiming that it was showing obvious hatred and intolerance. A shocked Ryan stepped back and said, "How so? And why are you blaming me? I never had the authority to make that decision!" He was answered with the throats of about sixty, and was able to pick out of the babble, "It stands for Totally Canadian!" "Terrible Cuban!" "TED CRUZ!" Ryan was horrified that they would take a baseball hat so out of proportion, but hoping to pacify them he asked, "What do you want us to do?" to which they replied, "Change the hat logo to the initials of our candidate!" Seeing that they hadn't been clear about who they were endorsing, he found it necessary to ask who it might be, and found out it was Bernie Sanders. Ryan withdrew to have a meeting with Mr. St. Peter and Mr. Pohlad, and when they found out about the demands they wholeheartedly agreed to meet them. Mass production will begin shortly, and upon the completion of the product a free hat will be sent to every man, woman, and child living in Twins Territory, and embroidered on it will be: Brought to you by the Twins front office, BS. An extra note: The headline the next day for Salon was: Years of injustice end, Minnesota Twins Finally feel the Bern!, meanwhile on Breitbart: Ryan once again caves to liberals....
  3. Just a thought, but do those of you who believe that we should limit the second amendment to save lives, do you also believe the same about the fourth amendment?
  4. Believe me, I had great respect for Kennedy, and was grieved when he died. Another thing I would like to point out is that I didn't celebrate when Hussain and Bin Laden died, although I didn't grieve.
  5. I'm not. Just observing what is true, and than calling you out for it.
  6. Starting a thread with the title of "Scalia is dead!" is pretty obvious. I don't recall anyone on here using exclamation points in the title of the thread discussing someone dying, such as Yogi Berra. By the way, you probably wouldn't have done that if it was Ginsburg.
  7. I find this disgusting that you are celebrating. Absolutely Disgusting.
  8. You think everyone takes steroids?
  9. You mean that you don't have that problem with Kentucky and Wisconsin?
  10. Wouldn't Trump nominate his sister?
  11. Which brings up a thought. Why don't we follow Trump's advice and build a wall along the border to prevent gun walking? Even though it isn't promoted by the government anymore, it still happens, with guns coming from Mexico to America and vice versa. Those guns are involved in crime a lot more than gun show's weapons.
  12. The gun show loophole supposedly doesn't exist anymore, but just a thought, how many of those guns, if possible, could be traced back to crime? Probably a very, very small amount.
  13. Um, there are background checks, and in fact it was Ronald Reagan who was one of the biggest pushers for the Brady Bill, so you are jumping to conclusions without looking at the facts.
  14. How stupid can you be? Mejia.tiff Mejia.tiff
  15. Look, it doesn't matter how many guns you have, either the person will reload, or they will pick up a new gun, which wouldn't make much of a difference. It would also be ridiculous to limit the amount of ammo you can buy, because some people I know buy all their ammo for the year at one time.
  16. I don't recall anybody using fifty guns at once, so it seems unreasonable to put a limit on the amount of guns you can buy when it won't make a difference.
  17. There is no such thing as an automatic weapon on the open market. Another thought, AR-15s are a .223, the kind of gun that you use for the sport of target shooting, and kill less people per year than baseball bats, which are also used for sport.
  18. Than why did the late Senator Moynihan want to put a 10000% tax on ammunition? There are plenty of Democrats who want to bring that back up, and if it were passed, it would effectively take away the right to keep and bear arms from blue collar workers, who own most of the guns in the country.
  19. Of those four, I prefer Shore. I'm working on my own first draft post, and am becoming really interested in a certain hitter.
  20. Quentin can't make the team if Sweeny hits .70 points higher, and Walker will have to hit around .400 with 8 homers to get a spot, so those two are the obvious outs, Benson won't make camp if he hits .10 lower than Mastro, and Mastro won't make it if he hits .30 lower than Sweeny. Sano, Rosario, and Sweeny would be locks in that situation, with Arcia getting one final shot over Kepler.
  21. I would take Dozier over Polanco, because in case you haven't noticed, he is aging too.
  22. Anybody plan on watching this? I would love to, if I can find the time. Beresford, Gibbons, Van Steensel, Wade, and Whitefield are going for Australia, and for South Africa we have Pearce and Ebersohn.
  23. How about most home runs by a player who was never an all-star?
  24. Rand Paul and Rick Santorum dropping out... I have great respect for Paul's campaign, but Santorum never got off the ground.
  25. One of his more famous issues was when he fought McConnell on the Export-Import Bank, which is well known for favoring special interest groups over the interests of the American tax payer.
