  1. We were all saying that about Darnold when we signed him too. KOC is earning his reputation as a QB rehab expert. Jones won’t jump ahead of Mullens in the next couple of weeks, that’s why he’s on the PS.
  2. We get a 6 week trial run for basically free to see if we want to keep him around for the 2025 season. He gets a head start learning KOC’s system and see how he interacts with McCarthy. Plus, he is insurance this year if Darnold goes down with injury. He’s a hell of a lot better than Rypien on our practice squad. I’m a big fan of the move.
  3. Love it. Welcome to the team Danny Dimes!
  4. The Dodgers have figured out if you have 10 pitchers who are hurt half of the time, you have a 5 man rotation.
  5. Did the Twins win or lose this trade? Memorial Day is on Monday vs. 4th of July on Friday... The weather is likely to be better in July, but there are a lot of in-state folks that head to the cabin for a long weekend. I was in attendance for the 4th of July series in 2024 against the Tigers when Miranda was on his 12 for 12 MLB record tear. Rain put a damper on the series and Target Field was maybe at 50% capacity.
  6. I'm not sure I agree with this line of thinking. I am enjoying this season greatly, but the Vikings have earned much higher expectations than what we thought in August. Now it's fair to expect 12 wins and making some noise in the playoffs... As long as the team remains as healthy as they've been this season. I expected the Twins to win a low 80s amount of games pre-season, but that didn't make the last 6 weeks of the season collapse hurt any less. I'm not heading into this winter thinking yep, the Twins met expectations no reason to make any changes.
  7. The new market inefficiency in the NFL... The NFL is cyclical and I expect a focus on RB again like the late 90's/early 2000's.
  8. And I lost with that 31 yard screen reception
  9. Nobody cares, but I am in a must win fantasy matchup going up against Saquon Barkley. This isn't going to end well for me.
  10. I'm surprised in this day and age of analytics that no reputable source tracks how many yards get credited to WRs for defensive penalties. Jefferson is on one of my fantasy teams (no one cares) and I've said to my buddies Jefferson has accounted for probably 400 yards of penalties on top of his actual production. Just today alone he was credited for, what, 70 yards of penalties?
  11. The whole NFC West looks pretty mediocre
  12. Texans look quite fraudulent this year but someone's gotta win the AFC South... And we've seen personally that they're all worse than Houston.
  13. 49ers are toast this season
  14. I'm very concerned about the OL if Robinson is out for any amount of time. It could get really messy during a critical stretch in the schedule.
  15. Pictured: Me after this game
  16. That last drive was probably Darnold's best over the whole season so far. Really clean game from him today.
  17. Thank god! We leave this dump of a stadium with a win.
  18. HUGE 1st down. Get 3 and get the f out of here
  19. OT is the perfect time to start committing penalties /s
  20. This game is so cursed the chain gang guy just blew out his knee
  21. Addison taking full advantage of the opportunity today since the Bears have dedicated 6 eyes on Jefferson every play
  22. My god this game is becoming cursed. Just get in FG range and get the hell out of Soldier Field
  23. lol Greenard toying with Williams on that sack. He was also held for about 5 seconds straight before the sack.
  24. I understand leaving Jefferson off the field in case if some special teams nobody tries to cheap shot him. But Johnny Mundt? At least have Hockenson if you want a big body to secure the ball.
