    Gleeman brought up a good point for the neutral path. If we think the Pohlads will sell soon and the FO gets replaced by new ownership, then we should let the new group shop for their own groceries. Otherwise the new GM could come in and say “Oof. That’s all Falvey got for Duran? I wouldn’t have traded Lewis for X” etc etc

    This is 100% the truth. Especially in the south. When I lived in Austin, TX and my parents came to visit, they were confused why I took them to a clearly converted old gas station for dinner. But that is where the best BBQ in town is located

    Bader and Buxton are 2 peas in a pod. Pure hustle/swagger guys and I hope they’re both patrolling the OF in Target Field for a couple more years

    The only expiring contract guy I will push back on is Bader. And not just because of today with his 2 HRs willing the team to a win. This dude has everything you want to round out a team. Constant hustle plays offensively and defensively. He can play all over the OF. Just enough power to be dangerous. I am more than willing to extend him 2-3 years. The only thing I don’t know about is if he personally doesn’t want to be here for the next couple of years.

    Who wouldn’t? Bader is everything you could want in a clubhouse. Pure hustle guy, just enough power to be dangerous, and most importantly brings the vibes

    We can pick it up, but mutual being the key term here. They rarely convert. I’m more than willing to extend Bader for 2-3 years and have OF defense locked up

    Correa should get booed. He’s a disaster when he needs to come through at the plate for the team

    Not sure why. Andrew Painter is a top 10 consensus prospect with top of the rotation upside. 22 years old. I’d do that in a heartbeat

    It’s the unpopular opinion, but it might be time for a sit down with Buxton. And ask if he really wants to spend the rest of his prime playing career on a team due to rebuild. Or if he wants to be an impact player on a true contender? That seems fair from a professional courtesy standpoint. There are several contenders that would love to acquire him… Mets, Yankees, Braves, Phillies

    Hope everyone has a great 4th of July weekend! I need a mental break from this team. From top to bottom this organization gives the impression that they don’t care. Batters with poor AB after poor AB. Rocco zoned out in the dugout, and a FO that buries their heads in the sand.
