  1. “It’s just not a good look. I don’t know.” - Denard on Clase Dynamite drop in Denard! That broadcast school is really paying off
  2. Idk if there’s any role Funderburk can fill at the MLB level. But it sure as hell isn’t mop up long relief.
  3. Castro might be even worse this month. Ice cold
  4. I’m sure Kohl Stewart or Stephen Gonsalves are still alive and breathing.
  5. This terrifies me, and adds even more fuel to the fire to get rid of Falvey before it’s too late.
  6. All we are doing with this program is ensuring we will never have 5 capable starting pitchers.
  7. The half inning long advertisement for Securian is finally over
  8. If they want to try that strategy on a 29 year old desperately looking to get back into MLB, sure. It makes zero sense to me taking a 24 year old out of developing as a SP for this crap.
  9. I will say the exact same thing about the guy warming up in the pen.
  10. Is it wishful thinking that he’s light headed after learning of a trade?
  11. Big time. Him and Buxton are the only 2 position players that are consistently worth the price of admission to watch.
  12. Trading off the expiring contracts is easy. This decision(s) is why we pay Falvey the big bucks.
  13. One of several pitchers who are being trained to never be a starting pitcher. I couldn’t disagree more with Falvey on this strategy. The way things are trending we’re going to be watching bullpen games multiple times per week.
  14. For sure. The Rays and Twins new owners could be losing money in the first year or two if games are lost due to a lockout. On the other hand, It’s a reasonable gamble for the mid market and lower tiered teams to buy in now and bank on better revenue sharing, salary floor/cap, etc with a new CBA.
  15. Sorry for being a one track mind here… But combine Bader with Coulombe to maximize the return for both players. Ideally the Twins receive a better prospect than what they will receive in 2 separate transactions.
  16. It will be more surprising if there isn’t a lockout at this point in time. I’ve got to remember to enjoy this season and next season. Because after that, there is a ton of uncertainty in the sport.
