    Fine way to look at it as long as we can keep saying that while pushing back the year we are supposed to contend until it actually happens.

    With as heralded and supposed deep of a farm system the Twins have, I don't think it'd be a problem to trade a quality prospect (i.e. a hope and a prayer) for an actual proven quality MLB.

    This, exactly this. I can see where people who tend to agree with management very often/almost always would think other-wise. And sometimes/often, they aren't knee-jerk reactions at all. Sometimes stuff is said way ahead of time and when things happen to back up what was said and it's pointed out, people THINK it's a knee-jerk reaction.

    IMO the first one was pretty routine for a ML 3B.the second one was a great play. He is capable of being a decent 3B and should be there when Plouffe is out if he's not going to DH.

    I think the concern is lateral movement. Range. And the fact they have Plouffe (a quality defender). But if he has to play a position...

    now THAT was a great play! I think sometimes when he makes routine plays people get too excited, but THAT was great!

    guaranteed every player on the Royals takes 3rd on that. And I believe Mauer would have too. He does it a lot. Smart baserunner.

    Mauer's OBP up to .464. :-) Has gotten on base at least once in every game he's played.

    Rosario would have taken 3B on that if his head was in the game.

    There's no excuse to try and bunt at that time anyway. Give some grief to Molitor for calling for it in the first place. And putting down a good bunt at that level is a lot harder than people think.
