  1. Let's see. That must be your indirect way of saying that it was a shotgun insult.
  2. Does that mean that riverbrian never, ever says something stupid? Well, I'm not going to disagree. Nobody's stupid. We're just practicing humorists.
  3. They sure are. 96.3, and Danny Vader and R2-D2 are being as funny as ever.
  4. I strongly advise you to stay at home. If it's urgent, there's always confession time later.
  5. You only have to dig so far before you reach the Tigers' bullpen.
  6. Somehow I don't see a playoff-thirsty team firing their manager just to hire Gardy. The Twins might have made it to the playoffs often enough a decade ago, but did we do all that great? The answer is a great big NO. And I'd agree with Winston that the White Sox are the most likely spot for Gardenhire, which of course makes me happy since we need to bring that rivalry back. We can't let those sneakin' Royals come in and steal that from us.
  7. You guys have given me the greatest idea for the most popular new type of snowMAN in all the world, trending in Minnesota, first made by TD's always33, inspired by various other users.
  8. It has become a favorite phrase in our family, so don't worry. In fact, I asked what the weather would be like in Mahtomedi this coming Wednesday to know whether we would be able to watch the high school baseball game, and upon hearing the news someone (I think it was my youngest brother) asked, "Is that your Circus Boy Update?" Anything related to baseball gets that response. And let me assure you, our family leads all the trends in the neighborhood, and from there it spreads out to the whole world. So if we make a snowman without balls (like a pole), every kid in the neighborhood follows suit. And that's just a mild example. The list goes on and on.
  9. Sitting here gazing blankly at the scoreboard, I am reminded of when we made Liam Hendriks pitch the same day as FiFi. At least I think that's the way it went. If I remember correctly, he pitched a complete game and we lost 1-0. So to bring up my original point about face the bad guys against the good guys, why, it seems to improve their pitching. It's time to give it a try, Molly and Ryan.
  10. Well, well, we're all tied up at 5 hits apiece.
  11. What kind of a called strike is THAT?
  12. I just glanced at our lineup to see who I would/wouldn't trust to break it up. To my horror, I realized that not a single one of them has a higher advantage over another. http://cdn.playbuzz.com/cdn/db91f2c4-1e03-4cf5-b6c9-af6d5d46f6eb/224bf913-0a94-4e7b-85f7-99875344bd8d.gif
  13. If I say nothing about the game, forgive me. I haven't the faintest idea of what's going on since I usually watch it on our MacBook Pro, but I have a new Microsoft Toshiba and I don't dare go to the website I usually watch games on since it's a very shady source and I accidentally gave a friend of mine a virus by sending them the link.
  14. If you'd spend $96 for a pencil, I think I'd dive in and get the watch. It'd be worth it.
  15. Then we'll wait until the next series You know what they say in the ad's, "The worst brings out our best." Well, I've noticed over the years that the worst outplays our best. But does it HAVE to?
  16. I was shopping for watches that I'll never buy. So what, are we all to blame for Torii's error? Would he have seen the ball if we had?
  17. Hm, that's a lot. But being addicted to shopping, I found one for you. It's $39.99: http://shop.mlb.com/product/index.jsp?productId=31909946&cp=1452357.1452812.4026657 http://mlb.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/pMLB2-17907675dt.jpg
  18. The only watch I feel like wearing right now is this one (though of course it's not an option for a man): http://mlb.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/pMLB2-16191407dt.jpg
  19. Hey everybody, I just had the most brilliant idea. Why don't we have our bad pitchers face the aces since they're going to get us a loss anyway and match up our better pitchers like Phil Hughes against the worst guys so we end the season closer to .500?
  20. Well, to be honest, we're only at 5-8. Could be worse.
