    How is DanSan getting so much playing time? He's playing shortstop today for the first time this year? Is Buxton hurt? Is Esko hurt? Why does he love DanSan so much!!! Ugh.

    I could be wrong here, but I don't believe the Twins have had a 1 game losing streak all season.... Meaning they lost one game, and then won the next. Think about that.

    This. Ownership is just not prepared to do this right now, and like a few other posters, I am not sure doing this in the middle of the season is going to improve or change things. My guess is you would want to interview a lot of currently MLB employed people for both jobs. I still will be shocked if TR is let go at the end of the year.

    I'm pretty sure trading Hardy was a Gardy thing, not a BS generated move (well it was BS, but you know what I mean). If your manager wants you to do it, and your billy smith, well you probably do it. Disaster.

    This. The 40 man is a mess if we demote Duffey and try and add new people. I agree with the notion, that we extend May out on his rehab (which they won't do). Wheeler is Dean, Dean is Albers, and Albers is Wheeler. Really no difference and none of them should be on a 40 man roster on a bad team. However we are really bad and have to wait for Dean's 10 days before he can come back up. Adding more soft tossing lefties to the 40 man does not make sense. Then again, the way the roster has been managed we should absolutely expect something like this. I would let Berrios come back up here and take his lumps, or leave Duffey in until May is ready.

    Very excited for Lamonte Wade to move up a level. Hopefully he reaches AA by the end of the year, although doubtful.

    I believe he has had over 600 plate appearances vs. right handed pitching in his MLB career, with over 34 home runs. With Park's struggles, they probably could have got him a few more at bats at DH vs righties. From Gleeman: "Oswaldo Arcia has played 251 games. Most homers in Twins history through 251 career games: 51 J. Hall 44 Morneau 44 Oliva 40 ARCIA 40 Gaetti" Interesting decision. Roster management and player development continue to be the thing I am most alarmed at, over the last number of years.

    I'm pumped to see this kid live. I am also excited to get off of the last team in MLB to have a pitcher throw one 98mph pitch in the last 6 years...not sure if that is accurate but you know what I mean

    I read the article and it was pretty critical, as Reusse can be. I also agree that he is a baseball guy first. I think like many people he is embarrassed that he got fooled from last years Twins' season. However, I think his article is mostly spot on. Where is the accountability? I think he's right about the prices. As soon as the Twins thought they might have a plus .500 team again they jacked up the prices... Not too much he is wrong about in my opinion.

    Is it bad when I'm watching the mlb.com game cast and the count is 2 and 2 on Buxton, and I am holding my breath to see a blue circle, instead of a read one? Even when it's a ground out I feel a sense of relief...

    I would, in this instance, have moved Buxton to lead off and pushed the lineup down one with dozier batting 7th or 8th.
