Except that it removes the ability to platoon based on hitting match-ups. For his career, Castro OPS's .547 against lefties with a .247 wOBA and 53 wRC+. Against righties, he's .755, .330, and 109. In plain english, he's a AA player against lefties, and an above-average MLBer against righties. -
