    My thoughts thus far; --for those on the game thread last night, we talked about the hell that would be getting woken up by a Hawk Clock. Well...the White Sox are giving away a Hawk Clock as a promotion. Life imitates art. --that Molitor is a baseball savant. --Holland should have had a call third strike on Sano--it was close but it caught the edge of the zone. I wish we had Bert to tell us how the mark of a good pitcher is how you respond, or some such nonsense. --the Twins have hit a jon ron in 12 straight games for the first time since 2002.

    I would argue that I hope the organization never thinks of him as a once or twice a week player, because that would mean they re-signed him after the 2018 season.

    I thought that too, so I looked at his splits. In 2017, Kennys is slashing .143/.188/.143 (.330) against lefties, and while Mauer isn't great, he is 150 points better in OPS. Seems like Molitor has decided to micromanage, and that SSS is "fake news".

    The downside of the lineup's success today? Molitor will probably equate its triumphs with Mauer batting leadoff.
