  1. Tonkin needs to quit toying around...
  2. Perfect placement by Lewis....LOL!!
  3. They were right though, he got several very hittable 4-seamers...
  4. How dare the announcer suggest Clemens hit that pitch over the outer part of the plate the other way....
  5. The Friars found their knockout hits though...
  6. Should have kept Taj out there...
  7. Lee is absolutely horrible with 2 strikes...needs to figure that out and quickly
  8. Buxton had to hold up to make sure the ball did not him. Watkins then had to see where Tatis was throwing the ball. Agreed he should have been on 3B and believe he would have made it no matter where Tatis's throw went.
  9. Watkins held him, the ball was hit to RF (behind him, 3B coaches job to hold/send)
  10. Missed opportunity #1, Buck should have been on 3B and would have scored on Keaschall flyball to CF
  11. Why did Watkins hold Buck at 2B? Looks like he could have made it to 3B once Tatis committed to throwing to HP.
  12. MLB Gameday will show you that info...
  13. Keaschall seems to make that play more often than anybody else the Twins have put at 2B this season...
  14. "Buxton is one of the better breaking ball hitters in the game".... as he chases a sweeper that was a WP
  15. He was 5-4-2 career against the Rangers and never faced them in the play-offs.... Now if you had just said Rangers, yes, he defeated all of the teams from the Iron Range Conference from 1978-1980....
  16. I'll agree that the game isn't played the same, but I'm okay with the C not getting into a long rundown to end the inning. Not running hard to first or admiring a deep fly ball, I also agree should not happen and should not be allowed to continue to happen. It happens so rarely however that guys that run hard every play are pointed out as being different, i.e. he hustles every play, he plays hard, he doesn't take a play off, etc...
  17. But Martin was expected to make a tougher play in LF earlier....
  18. Do you intentionally say stupid **** to get a rise out of others or do you just say stupid ****? Watch any other team play a game or two and if you see that play that's how it play's out almost every time. The player who takes the big turn to draw the throw to allow the run to score is generally thrown out without much of a "rundown" occuring.
  19. Growing up in I Falls I got to see Casey play against us a lot...
  20. All kinds of hate for Martin and others, but Buxton gets a pass for Correaing it to first on Bichette's error? Even Provus said Buxton picks his spots to run hard. Can't be on Martin's *** and give Buck a pass.
  21. But question Martin's? Martin made the right call, kept it in front of him and did not miss it for the inside the park GS.
