  1. Eh, you called for Darnold to be replaced in like 12 of the game threads.
  2. It feels more like we're beating ourselves rather than anything the defense is doing. Still, very annoying.
  3. Third drive belongs to the back up.
  4. Better. Points. Want more points for vikings. Bears can stay at 7.
  5. Well, not a great first quarter. Let's hope we have a really good second quarter.
  6. Moble QBs suck
  7. Maybe he should have had more reps in the pre-season
  8. McCarthy looked a bit confused.
  9. Vikes win big. Chicago is going to have a tough season.
  10. Wow. Baltimore. This might be their year. Wow.
  11. Lamar pushed a fan in the stands. I think the league will hammer him for that. They shouldn't but they likely will. (I'm sure the fan will be banned as well).
  12. I hadn't seen this but this article is absolute poison to Caleb Williams. Wow. https://www.golongtd.com/p/house-of-dysfunction-part-i-the-curious
  13. Maybe. Maybe not. I think the lions are a lot worse than people expected.
  14. Surprised I'm rooting for pitt.
  15. That's a bit of an overstatement. He was involved in street racing and the other driver crashed. That driver was really, really drunk as well. Carter shouldn't have been doing that but there's a mile of difference between doing something that stupid and killing someone.
  16. I think the worst thing in the NFL is, and there's a lot of competition, Cris Collinsworth.
  17. Amari Cooper retiring. Not sure if there is more to this story but retiring right before the season starts - while not unheard of - is pretty rare. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/46157479/source-amari-cooper-tells-raiders-retiring-nfl
  18. I don't remember any specific year but when I was a kid, from 1986-1995, three different teams in the NFC East won a combined seven Super Bowls. There must have been some crazy division fights in those years. But yeah, usually you might see a division with a few teams fighting and each capable of winning 10 games. Here, we have three teams that could all win 13 or more. Really strong.
  19. Well, being the optimist that I am, I will say I won't be sad to see Kenny Clark leaving.
  20. I agree with you, fans are horrible even when they have a competent front office. I just shared another example.
  21. Just putting this here as an example of other teams also doing things that infuriates their fan base sometimes. The Rams traded up (I think with us but I'm not completely sure and I didn't google it) to draft Chris Paul Jr in the draft in the fifth round. They cut him. He got scooped up by the rival Seahawks. Rams fans are mad. https://theramswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/rams/2025/08/26/rams-chris-paul-roster-cut-sean-mcvay-explain/85839702007/
  22. I know he was injured last year but he looked ok in the games he played. His last six games he had 37 catches for 450 yards. At his age, he could fall of a cliff but he worked out with McCarthy this offseason and knows the playbook (more or less). He should be able to adequately cover for Addison the first few weeks. I agree that a 2027 4th seemed more than I expected.
  23. Yeah, some of these definitely won't be there. I'm surprised RB Scott made the team but I think he'll be gone before week one. I think Myles Price is the punt returner so WR Jones is probably next in line to get cut when we add Theilen (or someone else). 10 offensive linemen is a bit surprising but Huber had a great camp and Jurgens is the only other center. LB Keys had a nice camp and he was apparently a really strong special teamer.
