    Not sure what the answer should have been, but Mathews just isn't ready to pitch in the show. I guess this was ordained when the only starter added over the offseason was DeSclafani.

    I'd have bet my last dollar KC was running on that 2 strike pitch. They did it again on the K to end the inning. Would it KILL Rocco to throw a GD pitchout once or twice a season? A pickoff? SOMEthing? But, no, they have their priorities and they're not going to change them.

    And, once again, the Twins refusal to pay any attention to baserunners costs a run. That ****** me off more than the base hit.

    Lewis needs to be the priority here. Just set Lewis at a position and let him learn it. He was drafted as a SS. He can be an adequate third baseman. Jacking him around is just stupid.

    Three late season pickups for KC... An ownership/front office trying like hell to win. edit: to be fair, I can't say the Twins didn't try the same waiver claims. I believe KC was behind the Twins in the standings at the time of the Grossman/Pham pickups, so they would have gotten the waiver claim ahead of the Twins. But let's just say I'm skeptical the Twins were willing to take on salary.
