    Well, if the Twins rebuild was further along and they had an open spot in the rotation, personally, I might be interested. We've still got a few veteran starters that we need to move. Somehow. Any way possible. On the surface, Pomeranz over Bucholz, for being younger than Bucholz and his continuing ability to remain left-handed.

    Dozier trade: This could very well happen after the Winter Meetings. If the number of teams involved in talks with the Twins is remotely true [Yankees say they were never in] that will a while for Falvey to get what he wants. On Jose Bautista: what are the odds of Bautista signing with a bottom 10 team? Well, I've found money to be a pretty good influencer. The biggest thing to me is that he could be a heck of an influence on the younger Twins hitters. Now then, exactly how much looser are those Pohlad purse strings these days??

    In the end, I believe the 100 mph fastball fad will only cause more shoulder injuries than anything else. Surely, there are freaks of nature like Nolan Ryan. It just seems like the Twins have had a fair share of ACL injuries in the MiLB.

    My assumption is Escobar is the starting shortstop next year. He's been move around a lot over his Twins career; 7 different positions each over the past 3 years. At 27, I think he deserves a full time shot. From what I saw of Polanco, he'd make a better 2nd baseman.

    A decision is needed. Whatever they do with Vargas, he needs consistent AB's. I just don't see any value in having him as a bench bat.

    And maybe those extra 3-4 teams inquiring about Dozier will push the Dodgers to include more of their upper-level prospects for Dozier and a couple Twins prospects...

    I just listened to the interview. Falvey is not showing his cards. He's letting teams know that a trade is possible, but has no problem going into 2017 with Dozier on the team. He did a good job. Now, let's see what happens.

    I'd be really interested to see a list of the KC players that would be made available. And the 4-5 teams looking into a Dozier trade. Fantastic that Dozier is at the meetings, no matter how he got there.     BR says Perdomo jumped up to 127 pitches last year. At 22 yrs old, I say worth the chance.

    Thanks for that. I looked at Landa's stats this morning and thought he would have been a keeper. Apparently missed reading that BB column and the injury issues.

    I'd take a shot at Ben Revere as a 4th OF. If memory servers, he's had a few injuries over the years. Maybe reduced playing time would keep Revere full speed all the time?

    Wow, and a new Hitting Coach, James Rowson, that I've never heard of. What were the odds of that And Bill Smith is leaving. Yeah, should really re-org the whole lot and get a fresh start / ideas.
