  1. I really am going to quit making game related comments.
  2. Got the tying run on 1st now.
  3. Quick call up another reliever, Tonkin won't be available again till June.
  4. I may be dense, but is this intended to be a joke?
  5. Of course I say this, then Corriea gives up a 2 run homer. Nice call! What are the odds Guierrer gets in today? 100%?
  6. Has anyone heard when TR will be back doing his duties?
  7. Anyone notice, Correia's ERA is below 6 now.
  8. Suzuki just got HBP, we better hope he can stay in, otherwise look for a pitcher in the outfield with this lineup.
  9. It would seem to be almost the required move to offset Guerrier.
  10. It is just mind boggling that Gardy/Front Office can let a roster of a MLB team look this sad. How how how is it possible that you can play a game with 1, I repeat 1(!!!) outfielder on your team? Shake my head.
  11. This is getting ridiculous! You have to feel bad for Escobar, having to play Left Field last night for the first time and now today Center field. Ohh if only Buxton had not started the season hurt, he would probably have been called up.
  12. In regards to the 3 SS situation, even with the small sample size, it is a much better idea to keep Santana/Escobar rather than anyone and Florimon. Even if it requires the Twins to expose Florimon, they have to do something. Florimon is seriously in danger of falling below .100 for a batting average. No matter how good the glove is, no one can overcome that.
  13. Thanks Brock! I will just keep an eye on it and then decide.
  14. I wonder if bringing up Guerrier is a set up for potentially DFA Burton? Give Guerrier a couple appearances to show that he is back and then DFA Burton for an outfielder. Not to defend the front office/Gardy which clearly have had issues with roster management but I wonder if they know something that we don't.
  15. I am wondering what the Twins Daily community thinks, will Meyer be up by August 1? I am curious because Rochester plays near me in early August and if I could see Meyer in person I would make the trip.
  16. Agreed! With Buxton missing time and still shaking off the rust, the earliest I believe it is possible for him to be up is maybe September and even then, more than likely sometime in 2015.
  17. I really think that the plan was (prior injury) have Buxton play AA till the Future's game at Target Field and then have him stay. Thus showing the willingness to part with Mastro and not really have any other back up outfielder ready.
  18. RED WINGS REPORT Rochester 5. Columbus 3 Shouldn't this score read the other way, Rochester 3. Columbus 5?
  19. I agree, but I was just listing likely reasons that the Twins would not give him a spot start.
  20. The only issue with this tactic that I can see is that a spot start for Meyer starts his service clock and as cautious as the Twins have been thus far, they are not going to start his service clock for a spot start and then send him right back down. For the Twins to call up Meyer, it has to be because he is going to stay. Also, they would have to add him to the 40 man roster to do that, which likely would mean that any spot start is going to go Johnson/Darnell/May before Meyer unfortunately.
  21. Hopefully this past week has been an indication of what we are going to be getting out of the starters going forward.
