  1. This is a great article. Wow. More later on that. Anyway, I actually think that the Twins should switch Rosario and Kepler in the OF. I don't know if that has been suggested on the site, but it makes a lot of sense to me.
  2. I do believe that all talk about this on this site should end pending what is going on here.
  3. Wiggins is having his worst season so far, by the way. Basically literally every stat available demonstrates this.
  4. Haha. It was pretty rare for me to have an any-time girlfriend in high school. Ahem . . .
  5. Some strange comments here. Towns is better defensively this year than he has ever been. Tyus works in his backup role and is not better than Teague. The team is actually very good right now. I cannot explain what on earth is happening against these Eastern Conference teams, but whatever.
  6. Wow, this is a pretty fascinating article. Thank you. It does explain his success in the minors. I do think he is destined for the bullpen which could maximize all of this even further.
  7. I would make Gonsalves, Lewis, Romero, and Rooker untouchable.
  8. For the record, Gordon would strikeout about as much as Sano at this point if pushed to the majors. He needs another full year at AA. And you all know that I am not one to say something like that about prospects.
  9. I would make that trade in a heartbeat. I have Gordon as the no. 5 prospect in the system behind Gonsalves, Lewis, Romero, and Rooker. I think Gordon needs another year at AA to get those strikeouts down. Jay was good in Fort Myers in 2016, but there is nothing else to rely on in terms of a long-term projection as a starter. Granite is very expendable with the likes of Rooker and Wade behind him. It seems pretty obvious to me. I understand potentially being hesitant about parting with Gordon, but Polanco and Escobar are there at the moment. Obviously this all would change if the Twins decided to trade Dozier.
  10. Absolutely. Thank you to all of you.
  11. I could actually imagine both Slegers and Enns ending up in the MLB pen eventually.
  12. He had other health issues as a reliever. Hell, relieving might have caused this problem anyway. He should be starting by mid season or so.
  13. On what planet is this an option given how emergent the team is right now? What the what?
  14. The Twins do not have enough guaranteed solid starting pitchers to even remotely consider this. I am very confused by this argument.
  15. I would sign all three, and in this order: Buxton, Sano, Rosario. Rosario is mildly expendable because of Wade down in the minors who should be a September call next year. That said, I would throw hefty money at all of them.
  16. Note: by "solid" I don't mean that they are all solid prospects. Eades is not, but he deserves an AFL chance given his draft status.
  17. I don't get how Sean Miller is involved in the AFL at all. No idea. The other choices are solid. I am perplexed beyond belief. I would be more interested in T.J. White, for instance.
  18. I would put Colon in a game 4 situation. If it goes south at all, bring in Mejia. A quick righty-lefty flip could save a game.
  19. Why is this a contest about Escobar at the moment. Adrianza would be the odd man out on the roster next year.
