After giving an update on the Giants game, Kris Atteberry just noted that Bruce Bochy will need an oversized plaque in Cooperstown to get his entire head on it. I so wish Gladden would remain on assignment. I know some folks like Gladden, but I think Atteberry and Provis are much more entertaining to listen to. In any case, Atteberry would certainly be more fun to have on TD.

Just want to say “thanks” for regular elements in the Game Recaps. It’s so nice to be able to bop over and get an instant look at the rest situation for the bullpen. And I like what Rocco did last night and today. Looks like the plan is again for Romo at the bottom of the order and Rogers at the top. Never know if it will work out, but it’s a good plan.

I’m listening to the radio. Every time there is a grounder to short, you can hear the anxiety in their voice, even on what I’m assuming are routine plays.

You’ve been talking to my wife, haven’t you? Speaking of saving up lines, I played in a golf scramble this week with my son and two friends, one of whom is a Cleveland fan. After my son crushed one down the fairway, I dropped, “Wow, that looked like Max Kepler teeing off on Trevor Bauer.” After another, it was, “I don’t think even Trevor Bauer could throw it that far.” Advantage: Twins fan.

No-hitter, yes, but not a perfect game. The runners would have to get on somehow. A perfect game requires no walks or errors, not just pitching to 27 hitters. A walk and a double play doesn't count. -
I wouldn't suggest asking Liz Taylor or Burt Reynolds. Things generally didn't work out that well for them when they tried it.
