    is the rookie of the year based on the future, or what a player did? It's almost like it hurts some peoples' feelings to compliment players on other teams.......maybe not you, but I've read enough here.... Preseason writers had the Twins odds on favorites to have the rookie of the year this year: Buxton Berrios Park......

    I had previously gotten out....but I may get back in now. I have a very large sum of money I just moved into my trading account (having sold my house), and want to gamble about 10K, and "safely" invest the rest. Having sat on it for a few weeks while we paid bills and figured out our "free cash".....I probably lost around 10-15K in profit already.......sigh. And now I'm less confident in my choices.

    come on, he didn't say it was the ONLY thing that mattered.....do people disagree that attendance is largely driven by the quality of the team?

    Then, we can keep him down for another month while they try to do a waiver deal......there is always a reason he's not up here, none of them seem to be about the present or his future.

    good stuff, thanks. If I ran the Twins, they'd have pushed that follow up interview a lot harder. However, I'm not sure the casual fan cares......how much effort should they aim at improving their reputation with us, or the industry?

    I don't get the strawman that saying Mauer is not good enough at 1B, means we HATE him...... WAR rankings for 1B: 2016: 13th 2015: 18th 2014: 14th If every Twins player ranked at or below median....how good would the team be, really? Don't forget, that's among qualified players, of which there are about 23-25 a year..... He's ok, median or so.....but he's not "good" compared to other 1B.
