    Came here to type this... There is no reason for Farmer to be here. He'll survive, though, and Julien and Martin will go down when Lee and CC return. Ridiculous at this point.

    Martin outplaying Margo .....but I agree, he'll be sent down. Gotta keep the veterans. Farmer can't play SS or hit, but sure, they should totally keep him.

    It's been 2 drafts? They had one awful one, last year was not ideal for the D, and that's it. How's the offense and special teams? It was looking like Pace and two guys from this year for sure.....now it is one for sure from this year. The rolled the dice on a guy that was good in college until he got hurt, didn't work. Cine was clearly a mistake, that whole draft was literally his first ever in charge. I guess I'm saying it's been all of two drafts plus this last one......and they've had one guy get killed, and another break his leg immediately, and two more just never get healthy.

    Hunch, nothing more or less. I think they want to cut spending, a lot. I could be wrong, but do you really think I'm fear mongering, several pages into a thread like eight people are reading?

    I'm nearly certain if they could get a good deal for CC, he'd be gone. They then put Lee at SS. That frees up so much money....so much. But, I don't see it happening. OTOH, maybe Baltimore gives up a legit top prospect or two for Lopez (like a RH OF)....but man, that's so risky for the Twins, I wouldn't do that (note, I'd not deal CC either).

    On the plus side, they have a ton of cap space in future years, and a "free" QB for the next 4+ years.
