Was it 2017 or 2018 when Gibson was pitching in a game with like an 8 run lead, ran into trouble like this, and Molitor called time out and ran out to the mound, sent the infielders back to their positions, and had an in your face Come-to-Jesus talk to Gibson? -
I don’t think they change their approach in big situations. I think they just have hit a string of bad luck.

I agree more with the first half of your comment. I’m sure there are pitchers out there this deadline with unseen value, beyond the big names. But even those might cost more than a lot of posters here are comfortable.
