  1. Difference is Joe takes the first strike, almost always, Sano doesnt always take the first strike, maybe the first pitch, but i havnt noticed that, but will from now on and see if that is true.
  2. After that Toronto game, Duffey has looked fabulous, now if we can just get 7 plus innings out of him
  3. I will say tho, that official scoring is not as tough as it use to be, but still that was a hit all the way.
  4. That play has never been called an error.
  5. That ball that was hit to Plouffe was no where near an error, if he even makes the stop he probably loses balance and cant throw out Altuve.
  6. I have noticed that too, especially his 2 strike discipline he had been showing.
  7. Sometimes winning when you are suppose to is not as easy as it seems, SEE THE WASHINGTON NATIONALS!!!!!!! But I dont think Matt Williams is much of a manager.
  8. I am hoping we close this out, so we dont have to hear from DAVE, that so and so need to be fired.
  9. I believe Springer was an CF too, so he needs and should catch that.......but I am smiling that he didnt
  10. Wow!!! Nice, but if that was the Twins defense, I would be ticked, that has to be caught!!!!
  11. I am not a Jack Morris fan, but he makes a good point.......Why doesnt Dozier just try to go to right, WIDE OPEN, selfish or cant???
  12. Hunter signing was excellent, where would we be without him??? Now how he is playing, i agree he should be playing less, but he has been getting less that earlier in the yr........on the others, if you have a quote of when these things were happening and your feelings at the time and you disagree with all, you are maybe smarter than the average TWINKIE!! The only move i wasnt for was the Stauffer signing, and I didnt really have an opinion on Hughes extension at the time, but he looked to be by far our best pitcher when resigned, and he was only 28ish??
  13. I will dismiss this since you dont even know JR Graham has been on the disabled list for over a week.
  14. How is the team expected to get better , when Ryan makes bad decisions and should be fired? If they win, i guess he is just lucky, if they lose , it is all his fault.
  15. So drafting an A level player in the rule 5 draft, and he becomes good, is not developing him????? That is ludicris, might as well say also, that Berrios will possibly also be lightning in a bottle or every other top notch pitcher today.............So what do you consider developing???? Both Liriano and Santana were developed by the Twins , even if not drafted or signed as an international FA. I believe both were 20 when they came to the Twins........And both were in A ball. But the Twins didnt devolop them, then nobody developed anyone with your criteria..........So if Hu or Tapia were to make it to the big leagues, would you say that the Rays developed them???? or maybe the Twins???
  16. He doesnt switch midstream????!!!!!! I disagree, I would ascertain that Meyer was part of his preseason plan, but he soured in AAA, so a different plan was devised..................I dont know that Buxton and Sano were for sure decisions in the offseason to be at the Major league level, but their play dictated they play this season, but if they(Buxton and Sano) were hitting poorly neither would have been brought up to the Majors.
  17. Its Gene Glynn and they would have walked Sano and then we would have had Hunter up, i thought it was worth the gamble, he had to get a bad jump, stumble or think for a second that there was only 1 out, he should have been right behind Suzuki, being he is that much faster than Zuke.
  18. Not sure if it was on Ryan term, but if Radke was under his watch, that would be ONE, but point is taken.
  19. Lets see they got better when they brought up Rosario, Hicks , Sano, Milone, Duffey, brought in Jepsen, Cotts........Id say Terry Ryan is making them better despite your constant anti Ryan rhetoric.............and this is not from a Terry Ryan booster, but you cant say he isnt trying to make them better.........just his moves are not to your liking and his team is playing well, with a chance at 85 wins, and very few people expected that, I know i was hoping for 81-81 but was expecting 75ish.
  20. 5 for 5 in save opportunities, maybe keeping those 5 wins, makes up for the supposed May fiasco, where someone said 3 losses were on that decision, so Terry Ryan is even to 2 games ahead, cuz with that bullpen, might have been 0 for 5..........i dont believe this, but with I am using the other sides reasoning.
