    I have clear memories since the Twins came here in 1961. Give me a competitive team each year and that means WINNING some playoff games. That makes paying attention each year, to each game. Sort of a "small" World Series in many games and series, to get to the real thing.

    Same here at 69 and in my youth I could name the rosters of teams. Those days are sadly long gone.

    Trade or no trade, it's been a great year and really exciting to see all the postings on trading day deadline!!! I hope they find a good deal, but I'm more excited about the excitement all this season for the Twins!!

    Just no to Greinke, too much $$$ and I remember all the "complaining" on our local hero as to his contract. Give me younger and up and coming pitchers over a guy that is on his downside.

    As David HK said: "All those dingers! Wow, it harkens me back to those mid-60's daze of being a young pre-schooler, when I first was aware of the Twins, in those Killer, Tony O, Bob Allison, Jimmy Hall days, when everybody in the lineup was knocking dongs right and left!" I was 8 yrs. old when the Twins came and the Vikings arrived in 1961. Baseball was THEE sport to follow !!! Those Twins in the 60's, were a HR machine. So many great memories!!! And some how, the Twins of 2019 are making those days return. Dinger after dinger after dinger! So much fun this year and feeling like an 8 yr. old again!!!
