    This will probably be in its own thread: Mike Berardino ‏@MikeBerardino 7m Mike Pelfrey had surgery on his right elbow to relieve pressure on his ulnar nerve. Recovery period said to be anywhere from 2-4 months.

    I agree with that. Still, they have had to have been taught how to bunt, and with all that talent it shouldn't be difficult to let the ball hit the bat. Fundamentals!

    How can an MLB player not put down a bunt? He even stabbed at it like some of my junior high kids do. All you have to do is let the ball hit the bat. If you can't tell it annoys the heck out of me when guys can't put a bunt down.

    I know some people don't put much into the RBI stat, but Plouffe has struggled with runners on base in previous years. I don't know how he is doing in that regard this year, but we could have used a hit there.

    I don't know what they are going to do about Hicks. He is hitting better, but still not well enough. Santana is an exciting player but I don't like that he is playing CF. I believe pitching changes will come. There's no way they will continue to keep Correia, especially with how guys are doing in AAA. The Twins are still in contention. This signing makes the lineup better. Maybe some more changes are coming.
