    I avoid overtime. Honestly, I make more than enough money to keep my wife and I in a decent lifestyle. We're far from rich but we don't lack. Overtime just isn't worth it. I'd rather be home scrubbing floors than be at work.

    the problem with overtime for me is the tax rate. Freaking 42 percent. So, I always take it as comp time. But, I have to find time to use the comp time which is also an issue.

    Not to nitpick or anything, well, okay, I'm going to nitpick but that at bat where Kepler struck out, it looked to me like Kepler thought he had to swing at anything low and away after that first called "strike."

    No worries. I think it's funny, myself, and will probably laugh even if it did turn out to be serious. I've had health issues all my life and this is just one more thing for me to deal with and then continue on my merry way.

    Seriously, though, I have an irregular heartbeat and and will be seeing a cardiologist pretty soon. No big deal. coughcough,gaaaack, thud... Although, all kidding aside, it potentially could be something which is why it is probably wise Mr. Martinez is on the DL.

    I've been diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat. I was quite surprised and so were a lot of people. Mainly because most people assumed I didn't even have a heart...

    I think the reason the Twins pounded Seattle was due to Sano being out of the lineup. I think everyone realized they were sort of sitting around waiting for Sano to take care of business. Now that everyone realizes they must do more, the Twins will pound this guy and chase him by the 7th inning. Maybe the 8th.

    It wasn't just last year, there were a couple of less than memorable "adventures in the outfield with Grossman" this year too. However, since then, Grossman has done a lot to get better at his job. I still think Grossman was kept because he takes professional at-bats and was basically going to be a placeholder until either Vargas or Park showed they were ready. However, I now think Grossman has shown he's more valuable than originally thought (good for him!) and therefore he's secured a place in the lineup.
