  1. Let's see Jonathan do this: oddly enough, this was in MN.
  2. My favorite one was the ceiling that came down on Jonathan. It was a hoot.
  3. Not that hard, rent a bulldozer, start from scratch. This whole "leave the walls standing and work around them" seems like a lot of effort and wasted expense.
  4. Home improvement, bullpen improvement...both cost lots of money and require some innovation. I'm not sure you're really changing the subject.
  5. I don't know about not drafting a SS that can pitch. Might be a good idea to have someone to back up Gimenez.
  6. The inlaid wood music box is incredible. Quite a few years ago when I used to travel about the US quite a bit, I tended to stop in airport gift shops and pick up cheesy souvenirs with the airport name on it and give them away to a friend that collected such things.
  7. I really like what you've done with the refrigerator. Is that decoupage?
  8. My wife and I are having wood grain ceramic tile laid throughout the house and a walk-in tile shower installed. As for the cost, well, never mind.
  9. Same with McKay. Maybe it makes more sense to draft someone who can play two positions well rather than just a pitcher. It would give a lot more bench flexibility too.
  10. I've been thinking that for a while and it's now almost the middle of June. While the ship may not have sailed, the anchor has been pulled in and the sales are set to leave with the tide.
  11. I expect either Belisle or Breslow to be gone after this game. Preferably Belisle.
  12. Hmm, I think someone really really smart once said "the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results."
  13. He's been bad all year. I think someone in the Twins brain trust thought Belisle would get his act together. They were wrong.
  14. Some of us were ready to run Molitor out of town for his in game management a couple of weeks ago. Well, one of us, any way. Okay, I admit it, I was ready.
  15. Yes, this is the reason Belisle entered the game. Congratulations on the winning answer....
  16. I didn't know there were other Twins boards besides Twins Daily....
  17. I hate to say this, but, so far, Hernandez has had a pretty good strike zone. Although, there is still plenty of time for Mr. Hernandez to make sure he's still the same guy we've come to know.
  18. Is it me or are the Twins playing much better fundamental baseball this year? Mauer advancing on the throw to third was outstanding.
  19. I'm not sure I understand, either and I'm a fan.
  20. It's funny, but I really could get that worked up over Turley giving up a couple of runs in the 1st. It almost looked like Turley got irritated and decided enough was enough when he struck out Pence.
  21. Great, Angel Hernandez is behind the plate.
  22. I don't think the move is about winning tomorrow, though, obviously, everyone would like to see a W. It's also about finding out if Turley can help over the long haul. It is still astounds me that the Twins are in contention using a starting rotation and bullpen that have been pieced together. If Turley can give the Twins a chance to win every time he takes the ball, that's one less worry for Molitor and the FO.
