In watching this game, it really looks like the Angels are one step away from mailing it in for the season yet the Twins just don't seem to have the fire they need to win this one.
Looking at Pujols and how one dimensional he is makes me appreciate Grossman, Vargas and Park even more. At least the DH's the Twins have on tap are also serviceable defensive players.
I get that, but Pujols, right now, really doesn't look like a legitimate threat. Seems to me the Angels just don't have anyone in the pipeline they can bring up to bridge Trout being gone. And Trout is going to be out for quite a while.
Pujols can hardly move and the Angels announcers are talking about how important Pujols is to the team and that Pujols is "tough" playing through an injured hamstring. I have to admit, that's some mighty fine Angels propaganda.
According to what I just read, having the ability to play an actual instrument disqualifies one from staying in the, umm, orchestra. <<<I'm using that word in the loosest sense.
From what I understand, had you done that these days in Oakland, well, you probably wouldn't be posting at TD any more. Anyway, I have to admit, that's pretty hard core. Good job!
