  1. IMO his greatest impact has been on Larnach, who's D has improved significantly this year. Not so much with Walner.
  2. Pasqualotto has added some serious velocity with a dash of consistency since we first noticed him at Ft. Myers. Kudos to him.
  3. So the bat is coming around, which is great ... how is he on fielding? Watching Royce's athleticism vs. Josh Bell at first, that's a pertinent question.
  4. Spot on... get reps at both corners at AAA, while he gets his swing fully dialed in.
  5. Bowman will walk based on his recent exercise of opt-outs. I say bring both he and Arcia up. Allow Lewis a reset and catch a little lightning in a bottle.
  6. The guy's worth the investment. Where's the Sports Psychologist that turned John Smoltz into an all-star?
  7. KC finding another gear would be something to see. The guy definitely has the drive.
  8. Give it a little time and we'll have a Culpepper at shortstop and another in the pen.

Appears comfortable now and it's showing up with a better approach at the plate.
  10. It's great that you are giving us the probable starters, as the MiLB sites are pretty slow with that info. That's a big determinant for some of us that have a long drive to the minor league ballparks.
  11. Yes, how did Gabby look at first? Digging it out of the dirt is a sharp contrast to chasing down fly balls.
  12. I like Flora and I like Flukey. Going to be real interesting to see if Flukey still shows well after this injury and see where he ultimately lands on the boards. There could be a bargain to be had on that one.
  13. One thing from Martin's minor league days is his willingness to take an HBP. The guy will do anything to get on base.
  14. I talked to Soto in the stands in Ft. Myers. The kid is huge, but humble.
  15. Good read on something we all dream about - starter upside. These 5 are going to be especially fun to follow this year and the last one (Soto) will be back on the field very soon.
  16. Add to that, trading for a not so impressive Eric Wagaman as option #3. #disappointing...
  17. Bell and Outman both looked very shaky on D this spring.
  18. Saw him a half dozen times. I think both he and Lee looked better - both in range and in getting the throw off more quickly.
