    Before the beginning of the season, we had an overabundance of quality arms. We got into the perfect storm. but some how we have stayed afloat. I still regret the early bullpen decisions, but to the Twins credit they did not hang on to the sinking life raft, but instead have SOS'd relief. Bring us to shore. And hopefully after Monday, tighten and right the ship

    “Put me in Coach” (song Centerfield) A late bloomer (Clemens), is just a quality baseball player, that never had enough opportunity to blossom. Getting playing time is so important. Examples: Clemens, Castro, Punto, Tovar, Hocking, Newman, Astudillo, Dozier, Castillo (Luis) etc.

    I got home late from coaching and was looking forward to the Twins game, especially since it was a day game and I could fast forward the commercials. After logging into MLBTV, where I saved "hide the spoilers" clicked, I wasn't thinking and logged onto Twins Daily, and son of a gun, the ending was spoiled. But it worked out great, I could not have sat through the first eight innings without upsetting my wife, dogs, and cats. Thankfully, I just watched the last inning. And what an inning. Unbelievable! Someone on the Twins team needs to come up with a T-shirt with Grinders as the theme.

    One Team's inessentials can become another team's essentials. Jeffers and Larnach should bring back a quality pitcher or two and possibly some prospects thrown in. Ya listening Yanks?

    Screw the service time argument for limiting promotion. It's not our money, but it is our lives and the players. We spend roughly 450 hours per year watching or listening to the Twins, and God knows how much time we spend on this website. We want a competitive team. Please, no more participation medals and pats on the back for good try. Winners do the work.

    Not having a true center fielder, and using Kreidler there sometimes, has a domino effect, as our shortstop ability is sharply diminished. Calling Gray back up is a real head scratcher.

    The Wind Surge were missing their best player, Houston. Kendle continues to rake.

    Ozzie Smith's career OPS .666 and OPS+ 87. Kreidler (675 OPS and 89 OPS+) is doing just fine for now. We need to improve the bullpen first.
