    Jax is a solid choice for this award. He became one of my favorite players to watch this season, and I always felt confident when Rocco called on him in a tight spot. I'm not sure if you were taking production value and aesthetics into account, but his "X Gon' Give It To Ya" entrance music/montage at Target Field is top notch.

    Great analysis. Thanks for sharing! I hope it works better this time around, and I think that with the bullpen arms we have this year, we can pull it off for the regular season. I do hope they get another solid workhorse, though. If they don't get someone before the season starts, they should definitely look for a trade partner mid-season if they are in serious contention. Having solid starting pitching in the playoffs is an absolute must in my book.

    Well said. Polonco was blocking younger (and more productive) guys from playing time and roster spaces. Having too many quality options in the infield is a good problem to have, but moving him for a need (pitching) only makes the team better, not worse. We needed to move him, and there was no way we were going to get a Pablo Lopez level contributor back for him like some people expected.

    When I first heard the trade news, I knew little to nothing about Topa, but the more I hear, the more I like the trade. Thanks for this excellent breakdown!
