    I sometimes wonder why Rocco is reluctant to pull any pitcher (starter or reliever) in the middle of an inning. Then I see the inherited runner stats.. whoa. And not just Thielbar. Okert, Staumont. Funderburk. Ish.

    I also present the top 4 Glad We Cut Ties list.. 4. Jordan Balazovic. Yeah we have still have implosions but nothing like his.. 3. Jorge Polanco. Injured and ineffective in Seattle. M's fans are not pleased. 2. Michael A. Taylor. Can't help but love the guy but he's not an impact player in Pittsburgh. 1. Kenta Maeda. Nick of time.. although he had a great bullpen appearance just before the break.

    Huh! For some reason I never correlated Zebby and Zebulon as variables of the same name but now it's so obvious. Just don't call him late to the mound!

    Gotta say Julien tops the Cape Disappointment list, with Kiriloff right behind, and Pablo and Vazquez not nearly as good as we hoped but at least serviceable and having good moments. Farmer has been horrible at the plate but we didn't really need to see him as much if Julien hadn't been so bad. Duran hasn't been as dominating as last year but he has been pretty effective.
