  1. I thought Pham only mashed against lefties...
  2. Nice job CV. Team has really been so much better at making contact and getting runs home with less than two outs. Kepler's at bat last night was awesome. Kopech was hitting triple digits consistently and Kep came through with two strikes.
  3. One can dream! Would love to see him get a shot.
  4. Hammies, presuming that's it, are tricky - I'd say 15 games and take the over.
  5. We're going to get an extended look at the Manuel Margot Experience in centerfield, aren't we?
  6. Vaughn, another pest. This is an annoying team despite the 6 wins.
  7. Hopefully Ober settles down. Need some length out of him this start.
  8. Mendick and 'lil Nicky Lopez are two other pests. White Sox, for as bad as they are, have a few of these in their lineup.
  9. I could be wrong - I usually am!!! - but Topa strikes me as Dylan Florio type.
  10. Not at all surprised. Was hoping against that Jackson would be DFA'ed but I can't see them giving up on him so early on in the season. Funderburk will be back at some point.
  11. Disgraceful that in this day and age, fans can't watch their hometown team on television because billionaires can't get their crap together.
  12. Adding to it - that play he made against Toronto last October - where he's basically one foot because of the plantar fasciitis - that's an all-time great play. If he was a Yankee or Dodger and did that, the national media would still be gushing.
  13. I don't think Twins' fans know just how lucky we are to have this guy at short-stop for hopefully he next 7-8 years. Plouffe has touched on it the last two games - he's nearly flawless in the field and not just highlight reel stuff, either. Fundamentals are text book. Bat's going to round into form soon enough. Then you throw in the leadership and intangibles. For all the grief that the front office takes, and some of it (a lot of it?) justified, but signing Correa remains one of the best things to happen to this franchise.
  14. Good questions and my head's spinning with all of this stuff. I did read that 'out of market' customers aren't impacted. Not sure how or why. I'll find out on Friday - won't be home for today's game.
  15. You read my mind - that was my next question - if being out of market would change things for me.
  16. I watch the Twins on the Extra Innings package - my cable provider is Comcast - presuming that I won't be impacted? Worst case, I can watch the other teams' broadcast but I do enjoy CP and the former Twins' players.
  17. Love watching Ober pitch. Great mix of pitches and execution.
  18. SWR needs a strikeout pitch - hopefully he can develop one because overall, he has pretty good stuff.
  19. I know it's 'only' the White Sox but it isn't easy beating a team 6 straight times within about a week's timeframe - and the Sox were riding a high after sweeping the Rays.
