    Per Gleeman: Harrison Bader was scratched from the Twins' lineup with an illness. Rocco Baldelli said it's possible Bader could be available off the bench if he feels better during the game.

    Austin Martin is a polarizing player for the Twins. So you may be happy or sad to know that he is back from the IL at AAA. He was hitting .419 and playing in the OF when he went out.

    Twins pitcher WAR Pablo .9 Joe .9 Bailey .7 Festavus .5 SWR .1 Sheriff 0 Solid top three and Festa looking good with 1/2 as many IP as the rest of them. Paddack to the BP with Festa up wont happen. Maybe Paddack continues to be in efficient but good enough and he can be traded at the deadline. Then we see Festa for the 2nd half.

    Falvey came from Cleveland so it makes sense. Pohlads probably like the way the Dolans have a consistent product but spend in the bottom 1/3 of the league. It’s not about championships for them. It’s about business and making money. Joe recently lauded the Rays and Guardos as examples of how to be cheap and competitive.
