  1. Maybe they haven’t found a trade partner yet. They can still trade him after they settle on a salary.
  2. Bobby N: The Twins tendered a contract to all their arbitration-eligible players, including Trevor Larnach. DaShawn Keirsey Jr. was released and is now a free agent.
  3. $1.8 mil for a backup C with some upside. Sounds good to me.
  4. Darren Wolfson of KSTP reports that Topa will be guaranteed $1.225MM in 2026 by his new contract.
  5. Agreed to terms with Topa, but I haven’t seen the dollar figure. Jackson projects for 1.8 million.
  6. Larnach for a bullpen piece with MLB experience needs to happen. Keep Topa for $1.7m. They have other guys they can drop for rule 5 adds or FA signings.
  7. Pretty sure it is just based on record in reverse order. Twins should have the fourth pick.
  8. Plenty of potential room on the 40 man. Gasper, Julien, Kreidler, Keirsey, Outman, McCrusher.
  9. Bullpen can be built by throwing stuff against the wall and seeing if it sticks. Sign the two pitchers to minor league deals and see what happens.
  10. Rule 5 protection. Twins added to the 40: -LHP Connor Prielipp -RHP Andrew Morris -LHP Kendry Rojas -RHP John Klein -OF Gabriel Gonzalez -OF Hendry Mendez
  11. Do the Pohlads even care? They say they want to be competitive, but they haven’t done much to show it. Feels like they are setting this up to make max profit by selling the team after the new CBA.
  12. Was hoping they’d spend some money here to find a right handed bat to push Clemens to the bench. Maybe this is a path for Fedko to the MLB, platoon with Clemens.
  13. Royce told the world what he needs. Shelton made a great impression by flying to TX to hang. Keep him at 3rd, stop batting him 7th, and I think he’ll settle in as a 110-120 OPS+ guy.
  14. Not sure who we’d trade but Rutchman might be available.
  15. Rumor is that they’d like Rowson as the bench coach. Shelton said he wanted guys with MLB experience and he’s going after that. Like the group so far.
  16. It seems as though the front office doesn’t even have concepts of a plan at this point.
  17. Bad organization from the top down. This is disheartening.
  18. Bobby Jr: Grady Sizemore will also be the Twins’ first-base coach next season. As noted in the story, Ramon Borrego will be back next year as well, one of the holdovers from Rocco Baldelli’s staff. Borrego will be the third-base coach.
  19. I’d rather go big, but I think the Pohlads have taught me better. Sign Andujar, Caratini, and Kinley Trade Larnach for a reliever Festa to the pen Offer Topa $1.6m By All-Star break we have some combo of Jenkins, Culpepper, Fedko, Gonzalez, Emma called up. Bradley and Abel can be the 6th and 7th guy in the rotation. C: Ryan Jeffers ($6.60M) 1B: Andujar ($5.5M) 2B: Luke Keaschall ($0.80M) 3B: Royce Lewis ($3.00M) SS: Brooks Lee ($0.80M) LF: James Outman ($0.80M) CF: Byron Buxton ($15.00M) RF: Roden ($0.80M) DH: Wallner ($.8M) 4th OF: Martin ($0.80M) Utility: Fitz/Kreidler SS backup ($0.80M) Utility: Clemens ($1.1M) Backup C: Caratini ($6.5M) POS: Ghost of Correa ($10.00M) SP1: Pablo Lopez ($21.75M) SP2: Joe Ryan ($5.80M) SP3: Bailey Ober ($4.60M) SP4: Simeon Woods Richardson ($0.80M) SP5: Zebby Matthews ($0.80M) RP: Justin Topa ($1.6M) RP: Kody Funderburk ($0.80M) RP: Cole Sands ($1.30M) RP: Pierson Ohl ($0.80M) RP: Kinley ($4M) RP: Larnach for this guy ($2.8M) RP: Festa ($0.80M) RP: Andrew Morris ($0.80M) POS: Add Dead Money Here ($0.00M) Payroll is 9.13% under budget
  20. Just like the FO, we get to wait for the Pohlads to tell us what the payroll is. Which is unfortunate because other teams are already talking about their priorities for the off-season. That being said, I’m ready to add Kyle Tucker to my blueprint.
