    You’re correct on the small sample size, and the fact that Bride has reverse splits, meaning he is better against righties than lefties. For a data driven team we sometimes don’t use all of the data that is available to us.

    I don’t think one batter is enough to make a difference. Since the winning streak, only Buck, Lee, and Castro have been hitting well consistently. This offense won’t go anywhere unless Correa, Jeffers, Wallner, Larnach (the list goes on) start to hit at or preferably above league average consistently.

    I suspect that most teams are circling their dates with the Twins on the calendar as a “get right” series. I did vote yes for will the Twins win today. It is getting harder and harder to see a way out of this though.

    I’m not advocating that they start. But if you bring them up and only allow them to pinch hit or maybe play one game a week, they are not going to be able to show you anything.

    What have they got to lose? Agree that the offense needs something. He’s led the international league 2 yrs in a row and they traded for him so the must’ve liked something about him. If they bring him up, they need to give him a run. Only had 34 AB before they sent him back down. These guys (McCusker, Keirsey, Gasper) play every day at AAA and then they come up to MLB and play once or twice a week and then we wonder why they aren’t good. That’s not really giving them a chance. DFA Bride if they think we need Keirsey for the OF defense.

    Pitchers aren’t afraid of C4 right now. He is performing 18% lower than league average so far this season. Not what you want from your $30 million man.

    Wow, sad to see how quickly a 13 game win streak can evaporate. Looks like we’re following the 2024 formula. Only the collapse happened a lot sooner. Terrible April, nice win streak, starting pitcher goes down, Alcala is unplayable, offense goes into a shell, season begins to collapse.
