  1. Jeremy Zoll discusses the trade acquisitions and some other roster notes. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/minnesota-twins-podcast/id902524292?i=1000721406098
  2. No need to rush Culpepper but also no need to not get a little excited about his future. I’d say leave him in AA for the rest of 25. Maybe he plays in the fall league, maybe not. Give him an invite to spring training. Start 26 with the Saints and then he’s only a Green Line ride away from Target Field.
  3. New Twins are 5-4 since the deadline (Red Wedding) Let the 2026 auditions continue
  4. Outman - Could be cheap(ish) Buxton insurance if he pans out. Abel, Bradley, Festa, SWR - need some starts to size up the 26 rotation.
  5. Gleeman: Sounds like there's a good chance the Twins will activate Byron Buxton (ribs) during the upcoming Yankees series in New York, perhaps as soon as Monday.
  6. Roku channel ad for the game shows Witt and Lewis. Neither one is in the starting lineup. Should’ve done Salvy and Gasper 😆
  7. Saw KC lineup on MLB.com. No Witt - looks like Rocco isn’t the only one who has get away day lineups.
  8. Pereda should be doing any catching, he’s an actual catcher. Outman Keirsey and Miranda are the only other guys on the 40. I think I read somewhere why Outman went straight to AAA but I cannot find the article. There is this: AB AVG HR RBI SB OPS 39 .103 2 4 0 .487
  9. 0 for 10 RISP, 10 LOB - recurring theme
  10. Twins 22nd in RISP going into tonight’s game. Come on fellas!
  11. Gleeman: Ryan Jeffers has three hits tonight and is now batting .393 in his last 24 games.
  12. Larnach still hasn’t played since being scratched a couple games ago with a sore side. Twins love to play with a short bench. Julien, Fitzgerald, Pereda
  13. MartinCF JeffersC Keaschall2B Lewis, R3B ClemensRF McCuskerDH LeeSS Gasper1B RodenLF
  14. Bobby N: Matt Wallner was placed on the paternity list. Carson McCusker will fill his spot on the Twins’ active roster.
  15. Ryan has also been injured the last few seasons. He’s at 132 IP so far after completing 135 in 24. The most for him was 161 in 23. He’s on pace to pitch in more games and innings than he ever has before. It’d be great to see him finish the season healthy.
  16. Twins need to be sold for any of these dreams to become reality. Would love to see something in place going in to the offseason. Ober has lost some of his appeal to me this year. Like most of the roster he has a few months here to show what he’s got for 2026. Keaschall would be a great candidate for a 7-8 year deal to lock him up and build around. Not sure how competitive they’ll be in 2026 but they’re definitely more fun to watch right now.
  17. More fun to watch than the previous rendition of the club. Open tryouts are going well. Nice win!
  18. This weekend will be the first time someone not named Jeffers or Vazqy will start at C for the Twins since 2022.
  19. Playing loose with the weight of expectation off their shoulders. Nice to see some of the young guys stepping up. Certainly been more fun to watch than the previous squad.
  20. Matthew Leach: Larnach scratched with left side soreness.
  21. Gasper in and Julien out. Don’t love it but Julien needs to sit and think about what he’s done.
  22. He’s been good 1-2 times through. We’ll probably see Hatch and Briske make their Twins debuts. Teams have been getting to Flaherty this season. Let’s go Twins!
  23. Twins aren’t taking on payroll unless they are sold and the new owners want to kick some money in. We have a couple in house options. The aforementioned Clemens - seems to be auditioning well to keep his roster spot. We have a guy masquerading as a corner OF named Trevor Larnach. Get him a mitt this offseason and let him learn.
  24. Jhonny Pereda was signed recently and is on the 40-man (AAA) Don’t know much about him but he’s got better offensive numbers than Vazqy. Here are the projected FA catchers Austin Barnes (36) Victor Caratini (32) Elias Diaz (35) – $7MM mutual option with a $2MM buyout Austin Hedges (33) Danny Jansen (31) – $12MM mutual option with a $500K buyout Luke Maile (35) Martin Maldonado (39) James McCann (36) Tom Murphy (35) – $4MM club option with a $250K buyout Tomas Nido (32) Salvador Perez (36) – $13.5MM club option with a $2MM buyout J.T. Realmuto (35) Gary Sanchez (33) Jacob Stallings (36) Christian Vazquez (35)
