    Definitely like the direction that we are heading. Front office has done a good job building the farm system and pitching depth. Don’t expect the new owners to go crazy but we should be in the middle or top third of spending not in the bottom third. ⚾️

    Keep Paddack and roll the dice. Start Zebby at AAA. We used 8 SPs last year and could use the depth.

    If they deal Paddack they’ll need another SP. They used 8 SPs and without Paddack we’re planning for Raya, Adams etc for 2025.

    There is certainly a time and place for platooning. I agree with some of the other posters that we seem to do it more than any other team. We do it too early in my opinion and sometimes lose a good lefty bat in the fifth or sixth inning when that bat will come up again. We also don’t seem to look at all of the data such as reverse splits. Manaea is a good example of this where he is worse against lefties, but we will go to the Al alrighty lineup against him.

    What if the payroll dumping assumption is wrong? I have seen they won’t reduce payroll but have they ever come out and given a number? What if they just run it back?

    Yes, yes, 100 times yes! This all makes too much sense. This sale cannot happen soon enough. The younger Pohlads don’t give me confidence that they know how to run a business.

    Only 27 games with Lewis, Correa, and Buck last season. Increasing that number is another key to the teams success. If these two are batting 2-3, is Correa lead off or cleanup?
