How long does the front office continue to fail to address the glaring bullpen issue??
  2. AstrosTwins
Yeah, they just said on MLB Radio that there is another $400K that is not reported in the base salary, that is baked in there thru camps and such.

    Sweet swing by Nick!!!
  4. AstrosTwins
I don’t think the booth is big enough for Archer to work in. He’d be too claustrophobic in there!

Perhaps we are looking for a story that isn’t there? Johnson said on pregame show that he’s missing a lot of stuff involving his 12 year old daughter. I can understand that. He gets a $30K raise and works less days a year, so I read somewhere. Hard not to take that deal if it makes the family situation better.

Sanchez looks so promising at times. If he could just hit about .250-.260 with his power he’d be very impactful.
  7. AstrosTwins
Agree. I love Hawkins the guy and player, but Hawkins the announcer is single A talent at best.

I’d like to get Bednar from Pittsburgh or Bard from Colorado. Both are experienced closers and we need to lengthen the bullpen. Pagan takes the 7th, Duran the 8th and Bard or Bednar closes.

Did he??? Falvey or Levine, not sure which as I was walking the dog and picking up…well, you get the idea, was on the pregame radio show tonight and, if I heard him correctly, he said they found out about it while the team was on the plane to Cleveland. He sounded genuinely stunned at the news when they heard it.

Falvey said on MLB Radio this morning that the rumors and comments about Sano being in Florida because of being fat are BS. Meniscus issue is legit and Falvey said he had a conversation with the Cleveland announcer who made those comments and he said the announcer apologized to him for the comments. Take that for what it’s worth. Doesn’t change the fact that when he comes back, he’s gotta hit.

Heyman reporting that the Twins are already talking to the Reds regarding Castillo. Would love to get he and Bednar. Bednar closes, Duran pitches the 8th and Pagan the 7th.
  12. AstrosTwins
That was a huge play in that inning. The ball should absolutely have been fielded.
  13. AstrosTwins
That was Correa’s ball all day long. He’s moving towards first base to field it whereas Polonco is working against his body. Bonehead play by Jorge.
  14. AstrosTwins
Can Duffy please pitch ANYWHERE but here. I mean, how much more do we have to watch??
  15. AstrosTwins
Sure looked like Kepler could have caught that one had he put forth the same effort as Larnach.
  16. AstrosTwins
Gary took a fastball on a tee for strike 2 and then swings at garbage.
  17. AstrosTwins
Would love to see Gary have a big series against the Yankees.
  18. AstrosTwins
Yeah, Sands isn’t ready for this level. He’s being put in an unfortunate situation. Hopefully this won’t scar him mentally, but given the injuries, what else can the Twins do?
  19. AstrosTwins
Why throw that pitch to Judge? A gut fastball? He should see nothing but sliders on the outside corner. If you walk him, you walk him.
  20. AstrosTwins
Needed this win SO bad with the Yankees coming to town.
  21. AstrosTwins
    Man that was big!!!!
  22. AstrosTwins
I hope that is the last time we see Duffey this season. This team needs to make a move for Bednar today.
  23. AstrosTwins
If they throw Springer a fastball someone should lose their job.
  24. AstrosTwins
Correct. You can’t create your own save opportunity.
  25. AstrosTwins
If Duffey blows this it should be his last appearance in a Twins uniform. He’s dead to me.
