I just turned the game on and I see our wonderful manager has pretty much burned through the entire roster in like 5 innings.
Does not look like we will have any arms left if we have to go extras.
I've just had enough of Rocco.
From his in game decisions to the way he handles the pitching staff to the way he prepares the guys to play on a daily basis.
He coddles these guys and it shows. Having optional BP, infield, etc.
I have had enough of this manager. 74 darn pitches and cruising and you pull him?
We will lose this game and the way this team is managed on a game by game basis is getting very hard to watch.
I think I will take missing the playoffs if it gets this manager fired.
You don't put a rookie pitcher in that situation who has barely been here for 24 hours.
That was an awful move made by an awful manager.
He can't even read his computer to see that Calhoun hits lefties better than righties.
So no he did not.
And for all of you Rocco supporters.
A managers main job is to put his players in positions to succeed.
Rocco does not, has not, and will never do that because he is in way over his head.
This is what happens when you keep pulling starters after the 5th. Yes Ryan could have faced a few more hitters.
It totally messes up the bullpen and our genius of a manager seems to never learn.
Jax obviously did not help in this case but the bullpen lines up much better when they come in the game in the 7th inning.
