  1. Like I said. We are not good enough to just give away games. He will probably give away tomorrow as well with some BS line up.
  2. We are not good enough to give away games.
  3. This is why Rocco needs to be fired and a big reason why we are not in first place by more than 10 games. This move made 0 sense from the get go. There was no reason to pull Ober at all. Cruising with only 78 pitches and he brings in a righty. At what point does the front office realize they have a manager that is in way over his head and has no idea what he is doing.
  4. He has a lot to do with it. I have been saying this all year long. He does not have these guys ready to play on a day in and day out basis. They never take BP or infield. Go find me another manager in this league that pinch hits for guys in the 2nd inning. He has about as much fire and personality as that teacher in Ferris Buellers Day Off.
  5. Watching Rocco manage is almost as painful as watching Les Steckel coach.
  6. Well let's grab the computer and multiply this by that and add and subtract that! Good god the analytics people drive me crazy! He gave up 1 run in 5. I will take it!
  7. Last night is all on Moran plain and simple.
  8. Put him in the field or put him on the bench. Clearly not playing in the field has impacted his bat. Right now he is too much of a liability. At this point put in someone who can at least make contact with the ball.
  9. He needs to go man and I get so tired of people defending him on here. The man does not have a pulse and that is exactly how his team plays. Put Buxton in the damn field! If he can run the bases he can play CF a few days a week. Get rid of Gallo as he can't make contact with a beach ball.
  10. The American League Western Division was pretty we bad back in 1987.
  11. Taylor is a gold glove winner man and a decent hitter. If he played every single day he would be hitting about .250. How can anyone get good sitting on the bench every other day? Royce Lewis goes 3-4 one night and rests the next 2 games. Baseball is not the most taxing sport of all time so not sure why Rocco does all of this load management. I call him RedCross Rocco.
  12. I think Kiriloff and Michael A Taylor are legitimate starters. Based on Rocco's demeanor and also the decisions he makes on a daily basis. Do you think the players are playing hard for this guy? He has lost this team.
  13. I've seen his demeanor in the dug out and frankly, That is all I need to see.
  14. Rocco could lead better? You either have the ability to lead or you don't. He clearly does not have the ability to lead!
  15. Energy is so important man and Rocco does not have or bring any!
  16. This is all on Rocco. Those of you who don't think Rocco is a problem need to get your heads out of the clouds. Does it look like it to any of you that the players want to play for this guy?( I don't blame the players for this) They clearly don't and they have quit on him. Did you notice that Atlanta and pretty much every other team we play uses the same line up most of the time? Do you notice how our line up changes on a game by game basis? You can complain all you want about the players but this game is all about rythem. How the heck are any of the players going to get into any kind of grove if they are sitting every other game, Batting 9th one day and leading off the next, etc. I don't want to hear anymore about how Rocco was manager of the year blah blah blah. The ball was juiced that year and any person except for Ron Davis could have won over 100 games with that line up. This team has talent. They just need someone with a pulse to come in here and energize them. I think it's as simple as that. I always work better and harder for a boss that I like and guessing most of you all do as well.
  17. You are one on the few on here that see the light! As long as Rocco is in charge I am not watching because I see less mistakes being made at my son's tee ball games.
  18. Why does the manager continue to use him in those situations. That is the bigger question.
  19. We still have plenty of good players. Difference is there is no juiced ball and we don't have as much pop as that line up. This is all on Rocco. It's the managers job to put the players in position to succeed and Rocco does not do that. Pagan has failed time and time again when he is put into the game in the 8th with the lead and yet again he was put in a bad spot again. I mean we might as well forfeit the get away day games he manages because of the JV line up's he uses.
  20. The guy was manager of the year 3 years ago because we hit 500 home runs. Pretty easy to manage when you score that many runs. What happened when he got to the playoffs? He was totally outclassed by Dusty Baker and Aaron Boone. Look at him the last 2 years now that he actually has to make decisions. Not so good is he?
  21. You go look at how all of the good teams out there are managed and use their players and then come back and argue with me.
  22. This is what is wrong with Minnesota sports fans and I am one of them. One loss does not have to be some big thing but when you get a chance to sweep a good team on the road you put the foot on the gas and sweep them. If you want to just sweep this one under the rug then there is no reason for us to respond to each other.
