  1. Theres a reason that I never get caught up in these we have to go 10-3, or must win things. You win a couple and the thing that had close to a 50/50 chance of happening does and suddenly you only need to go 6-5 or 7-4? Why not just win every game until we clinch, an 11 game winning streak is not that crazy especially playing teams that don't want it more and will put September call ups in the lineup.
  2. The betting markets have Rubio at 17 cents, go ahead and put up your $200 and win about $240
  3. If minimum wages do work (they don't) then there is nothing unrealilistic about it. You can't have it both ways. Or if you think you can you can do the proper economic work to find the exact right minimum wage to the penny, cause round #'s are what panderers come up with.
  4. You tell him exactly what you wanted to tell him a batter earlier.
  5. I don't drink, but if she does win I'll buy you two beers.
  6. There's a sliver of possibility that minimum wages do create a multiplier effect that allows them to be a net positive. It's just really odd that those that count on that being true don't want to even discuss why they aren't willing to raise it to $50 an hour.
  7. How different is that then lying about what minimum wage increases do? Both are pandering to those who don't know better. That's politics.
  8. I don't know why the media doesn't ever release side by side polls of this date in 2012. I suppose they like to present the latest polls as if they matter. Walker was among 5 or 6 that still had a shot at the nomination no matter where his poll numbers were. As for the leading comment it was a bit of spin sure, but you would think someone like Chris Christie would get the message.
  9. You willing to stand by that even if Clinton is the nominee? I'd give Biden a slight edge over Rubio but would consider Rubio a strong favorite over Clinton. Don't worry it won't be Clinton.
  10. So much more fun to scoreboard watch when it can at least put us in game 163 position. About two weeks back when the Rangers refused to lose it was fun, hopefully we can turn this into a long winning streak and be back in that position in 2 or three nights. It all comes down to the Twins at this point, with 2 spots in play no team can run away with it.
  11. Jeb's sitting pretty, while Fiorina has a real shot at nominee if nothing from her past that isn't already known comes up Trump and Carson really don't. The fact that without lifting a finger Bush has eliminated Scott Walker is huge. Unless Ted Cruz can win this thing it's down to a three way race in my mind between Bush Rubio and Fiorina who has yet to be fully vetted.
  12. It's pretty cool for about 2 or 3 heats, but at a certain point it's the same thing over and over again. I went after I quite drinking, I imagine it would be much more fun with drinking involved. Probably would be a good event to bring kids to.
  13. Having those three games against the Royals at the end is huge. If we need it we can get a sweep assuming they clinch long before especially if the three games can't change a thing for them.
  14. Scott Walker is out. I know he struggled in the debates but I'm shocked how far he fell in the polls. I think it just came down to him not being anybodies first choice, but he had to be in the top 3 or 4 among most. I was ready for Rand Paul to drop and this might give him a little boast to push him above the bottom of the pack. In the latest poll's his support was next to nothing but what little he had should mostly go to Paul Cruz or Bush. Again next to none will go to Trump.
  15. And before anyone jumps on me I think I know what happened in Benghazi but I do not know for certain. It would have been nice if Hillary didn't destroy her server as it leads me to think I'm right. If I'm right it's a really big deal which is not in anyway comparable to the lives lost in Iraq, if I'm not it's just 4 lives that when compared to the Iraq war is while just as significant to the 4 familes not comparable to any disagreement you might have with the war Bush and Senators like Clinton started. Yes they've gone over this for a few years now, but the key details are still not in. I'm never going to spell out what we are pretty certain happened as I'm not willing to be proven wrong, but I hope your side knows what we are thinking. It would be really easy for Clinton to clear things up if we happen to be wrong. Instead her staffer is going to obstruct the process by pleading the 5th to avoid any criminal charges.
  16. When people think the 47% comment was a gaff I don't worry much about what Democrats get offended by. The 47% was honest political analysis. The people that are net winners when it comes to tax and spend are in overwhelming majorities going to favor Democrats. That's fine although it has and will continue to lead to bad political decisions by both Democrats and Republicans the fact that a single Republican is willing to refuse to defund planned parenthood (while funding other women health programs ) tells us that way to many don't have the political courage to do what they know is right.
  17. Wait she was involved in Bengahzi and the cover up? or did she just say some words that you didn't like. Democrats ...
  18. No question some places are worse then others, it's a matter of who's in those positions at the times the lines are drawn. Right now those places are working, and the process is probably much more difficult to manipulate, but with the wrong people in those positions it still has the potential to fall apart.
  19. Thats one of those things that sounds good in theory but is next to impossible to implement. Who does it? Even if you say a computer someone has to program in the criteria. You could put it in the hands of some company in Denmark and it would still be partisan. The only way this all changes is to involve major jail time if not the death penalty on anyone who manipulates the process, problem is much like voter fraud thats really hard to prove.
  20. Any of those three parties Republican or Democrat? I'm the one that proposed free ID's. Maybe some people would be mad that 21+ year olds would then when carded use the free idea when doing something that is legal with there own money. Those would be stupid people, I don't think stupid people are thinking of the photo ID issue and how to fairly issue it as an effort to prevent fraud and nothing else. Maybe those people are racist or hate poor people. If it was really about race or hatred of poor people there's a simple solution. Vote multiple times in every election.
  21. Voting for either Trump or Sanders would make you a Democrat
  22. I should never think my manager is betting against his team twice in one week. I get bad decisions look worse with bad results but bunting and then going with a end the game in one swing or strikeout pinch hitter. Have a plan before the inning starts. There is a good chance the fist batter of the inning ends up on first.
  23. Good we gave up an out with the best hitter we had who has triple power with a speedy runner on first. If you don't trust buxton to steal second use a different pinch runner. Rosario should be looking to drive the ball. I guess Molitor was bored and wanted the game to end.
  24. So you project that I'm gonna call the people with free ID's drug users or program abusers but my assumption that you're a democrat bothers you. Are you willing to honestly answer who you voted for in the last three presidential elections and the last 3 Governor elections and the last 3 US senate elections?
  25. If I have a problem with someone over the age of 18 or 21 buying alcohol or tobacco the last thing I'm worried about is the easy access they have to an ID. I get it I disagree on an issue so I must be racist or hate poor people. It must really be nice to be a Democrat.
