    From what we've seen of this coaching staff and front office the last few years, I think they should just leave Gallo's swing Alone.

    Im not mad about signing Gallo, but why stop there? Jean Segura, Taylor Rogers, Nathan Eovaldi, David Phelps, Trey Mancini, Will Meyers, and Michael Fullmer are still available....DO SOMETHING!

    Money that was for C4? Youre kidding right? Even at 10 mil a year for Gio's arbitration that money was NOTHING to sway any c4 negotiations. Let's nust see it for what it is......another FO Falvine Failure. Urshela was one of the only Twins to show up every day last year. And they got Squat for him. What a bold move, and then they sit on their hands while almost every free agent goes off the board. I like Vasquez and I see the value in Gallo but..... Jim Pohlad thinks you A+ ask the fans...I say D-.

    I say true all that. I think this F.O. must go. but the reality is....Joe Pohlad isnt going to make that move until he sees firsthand what happens to the boys in a men's world. At least for one season. I find it interesting how we keep hearing them say that they need a rh bat so badly. Whats the logic there? I saw things change due to injuries last year, but let's be real here. They need a front line ss. They need a #1 starter. They needed another catcher. And the bullpen is at least average if Alcala comes back and one of the left over starters slots in at long relief. Joey Gallo is a good ballplayer. it wasn't that long ago that I am sure he won a gold glove for the Rangers. in my opinion, why did they need another rh bat anyway? They already have Vasquez, Jeffers, Miranda, Farmer, Buxton, and Celestino, Garlick and Polanco as a switch hitter. Signing Gallo wasn't necessarily a bad move, with him, Buxton, and maybe Kepler, that is a world class defensive outfield. Does it open the door for some trades. Yes I'm sure, but let's not be that quick to judge Gallo.

    They really have to go all in on Swanson...Lewis will never be an elite ss, and Lee is light years away if he even has a chance to be. Getting Vasquez was a good move. The next pressing need is ss, not the rotation or the bullpen. If the twins succeed in 2023 the trainer may have to be the team mvp.

    id be very skeptical about the season if we started it with Farmer at ss. IMO the starting pitching can survive as it is, and depending on the health or should say rehab of Alcala, the bullpen should be okay too. I've lost faith in this FO. I should say I never had any. Getting Vasquez was a good move but we absolutely need a better shortstop than anyone on our current roster. Staying healthy could be a key, and Jeeze, are we really going into 2023 with Pete Mackey as a pitching coach? YIKES

    Yeah...Are you kidding me? Eddie Rosario was a fricken warrior! Can you name the player with the most RBIs for the Bomba Squad? If you can't then get off this site. Non tendering Rosario was the 2nd most asinine decision Falvey ever made. The first was trading Escobar.

    I as well want nothing more than success for the Twins. I hope Joe Pohlad gets a free reign to do as he sees fit. Ultimately I hope he will assess the ineptitude of this front office and bring someone(s) that have a loyalty to the organization. I'm sorry but i do not feel the current fo has ANY lotalty to us

    I didn't really see anything wrong with the way Jim did things. It seemed to be pretty low key, except when he gave the Falvines an A+ for the 2021 dumpster fire. If anything Joe is a more informed baseball dude and that should light a fire under Derek's a$$. I think the free pass regime has run its course. Sorry boys, we will need to see Results.

    VI think Haniger would be great! The problem is he really hasn't played much left field in his career. assuming we wanna go into the year with Kep in right and Buxton in center well now what? Haniger won't come here to be a bench player, nor should he. Kepler could prolly be an above average defender even in left field. None of it matters if we don't get Correa back.

    And in response, i know how to spell my name...and it will take way more than Kepler to get Lopez from Miami. Kepler is better served in rf for the Twins. We already know he won't hit great(although the new rules will help) but as a defender i would argue he's a top 3 right fielder. Most teams wouldnt value his kind of defense and versatility. And by the way, why is it a thing here to fix things that aren't wrong? Where's the story about tendering Pagan, or trading Urshela for NOTHING

    Ok homey, simply put, this team from the top down sucks. whatever talent Falvey inherited, he has succeeded in ruining it. We let him hire a manager, and pitching coach. We let him spend millions on high tech stress plates, and spin machines we let him hire 200 analytics staffers to basically do the job that one man, or woman can do. (See Book of Joe) and after six years we still have to hear how great Derek Falvey is. The problem is he can't hear any of your praises because his face is still up terry francona's ass. What a waste of 7 years. I told you so!

    yes Dave St. Peter, do my next evaluation, and maybe i can get Scott Boras to negotiate for me. Jeeze Louise, what's in that kool aide....? Ok lets just say all this is pre-mature and then when the off season sinks in and the idiocracy of 2022 sinks in these votes of confidence will dissolve fast.

    24-26 and its so early to say but i bet if they tell him, Lee makes a MLB shortstop. My point is what the hell do we do while we wait?

    right! we have no major league ready shortstop. Someone will give Correa 8 yrs, 250 mil. Why not us. Its cheap if you really analyze it. I dont think he cares about what Seager got, he wants the security. I saw him live! He's the real deal.

    man it's awful optimistic to see Lee being ready before 2025. Lewis can handle ss when his knee recovers but for how long? For 2023 they can either put Gordon or Polanco there, Palacios, wait for Lewis...or just sign Correa to as much of a deal he wants and let those guys fill in where they fit in. Also the 3b job has got to stay with Urshela. That dude was just Solid all fricken year.

    exactly, so a multi year deal with Correa makes great sense. Correa is so baseball smart, and his shelf life is probably longer then either Polanco, or Arraez...i see him playing 2nd, or 1st, maybe even some 3rd, in the last years of an 8 year contract.

    This is all on The Fantastic Falvines. If I am Correa and I love Minnesota as much as i say, I am open to a multi year deal of say 5 years $200 mil. I dont see any shortstop on our horizon in less than 5 years. Lewis will end up being a super sub. Martin will never be a shortstop. Palacios cant hit at all, and Lee is at least 5 years away. Anyone who saw them play live when the games mattered saw what Correa brings to the game. Seager IMHO is no way the player Correa is. For the nerds, look at the spread sheet. I am sure Correa was a top 3 shortstop in 2022. i already know an ace pitcher isnt coming, why not lock up our next Captain?

    let us not forget that next year...unlike this year there wont be 19 games against the guardians, White Sox, motor city kittys, and royals...we will have to play LA, San Diego, Atlanta, the Mets, Philly, St.Louis, Milwaukee and the rest of the national league...somebody push derek, thad and rocco out of the way of this train wreck. Joe Maddon and Jon Daniels works for me.
