  1. How about making a draft prediction that everyone doesn’t already expect to happen?
  2. The only option that works in this scenario is Ober for Mayo one for one. However after what the Orioles traded for Baz today. It’s probably going to cost a lot more than that. Festa could be their next closer and there is no way in hell they are trading Abel after just acquiring him.
  3. Rotation should be Lopez, Ryan, Matthews, SWR, and Bradley. Ideally they trade Ober, move Festa to the bullpen, and let Prielipp and Abel start at Triple-A. If they were to trade Ryan. Then insert whichever top pitching prospect they trade for into the rotation and everyone else moves up a spot.
  4. If anything they should shift Festa to the bullpen not Matthews. Zebby still has a higher upside than Festa.
  5. I think Peterson is the best fit for the Twins but I wouldn’t mind seeing either him or Flukey on the Twins. Do either of these guys have true “Ace” potential? And if the Twins were to draft one of them how soon do you think they could be fast-tracked to the majors?
  6. The entire premise of this article is stupid. You let Lee play SS until mid-season to see what you have with him and if he’s not good you call up Kulpepper to see if he can stick at SS. There is no point in wasting whatever little resources this team might have for a position they have a fair amount of depth at.
  7. This is perhaps the dumbest way they could rebuild their bullpen. Topa is not a high leverage pitcher and the Twins should NOT resign him nor should they bring back Thielbar! And are you out of your mind converting Matthews to a reliever? If anything move Festa to the bullpen and he can become the new closer. Promote others like Bragg and Klein along with Ohl and Adams and then you might have the makings of something. Or you know make a trade or two.
  8. You don’t trade Ryan without getting Tolle or Early at minimum
  9. Would like to see you conduct this same exercise more particularly concerning Boston and Philadelphia. Curious to think if either would give up Tolle or Painter in a trade for Ryan.
  10. I would like to see them trade for Victor Vodnik from Rockies. He could be a great closer for the bullpen. Otherwise I think Festa makes the most sense at this point.
  11. As much as Tolle would be a great addition. I would rather have a package of something like Early and Witherspoon. Otherwise shoot for the moon and see if Phillies are willing to give up Painter for Ryan with the future of Wheeler being a giant question mark.
  12. You defended this front office right up to the deadline and acted oblivious to the fact that they are a bad baseball team and now you think that gives you the right to finally criticize the front office and ownership? I don’t think so. The only thing you should be allowed to do is find a new narrative because you’ve done nothing but defend the powers that be. Maybe consider more of that human element going forward instead of just focusing on analytics most of the time. In the end the team will be sold and Falvey will be fired.
  13. No way I am trading Lee. I’d trade Rodriguez, Polanco, Raya, and another top 15 player.
  14. There’s no way the Twins are trading Lee or Jeffers. The only option that makes sense is option 2. If you trade Julien then Lee steps in as your new 2B.
