    Thorpe should utilize his sliders and off-speed pitches more and he really needs to locate his fastball. He is going to be killed if he keeps throwing his low speed fastball in the middle of the plate. I think Thorpe has the stuff to be successful. He just has to trust it and be smart.

    Release Cave, call up Broxton. Demote Dobnak, call up Law. Let Thorpe be the long man instead. Let Alcala be the closer. Trust starters more and let them pitch through. I just don't have much faith in this bullpen.

    Trade Cave for Akil Baddo, trade Colome for Tyler Wells.

    Garver and Polanco are not much better. I would give Jeffers more rope for playing much less. Yes Jeffers really needs to start hitting.

    Polanco should be benched and Cave should be let go. Dobnak should be demoted and Colome should pitch 6th or 7th, Alcala should be the closer.
