i love this site and am very thankful to all the people that make it possible. Living in southern Cal there is no other site on earth where i can get my daily Twins fix with a click of my mouse. Keep up the good work gentlemen & Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Jack: What year did you graduate from Lake Forest College?? I played basketball there from 1976-1980. Go Fighting Foresters
  4. rickyriolo
yes, Lincecum off the market and signed for "reasonable" 17.5 million per year. He made 22 mill this year

of course the players want Gardy back, they can lose 99,97,96 games a year and strike out all they want to and pitch to a 5+ ERA and guess what??? Every one has a job next year & the year after. Whoopie!!!!
  6. rickyriolo
The Twins will be terrible for at least 2 more years anyway. So after 2 more 90+ losing seasons in 2014 & 2015, Gardy will be kicked upstairs and they replace him with Dougie baseball. All part of the plan
  7. rickyriolo
I agree with you Puck but not my call
  8. rickyriolo
i believe TR brings Gardy back. Why? Because TR believes no one could win with the roster that he himself put together. But it will be a 1 year deal with team option for year 2

Sweet Twinkies coming to Petco Park in San Diego May 20th & 21st....beautiful park and in the Gas Lamp district... party time

twins need to blow it up & rebuild. Enough with the 28-30 year old "rookies" getting their first taste of the majors. Go young and let the rebuild begin now. We are on our 3rd straight 90+ loss season in a row and it is not going to get any better next year.

After looking at all the projected line-ups for 2014 on this thread, I am truly sick to my stomach....TR has to do something in the off season right?? Is there another 90+ loss season in the works for 2014?

    Durham 1 Norfolk 0 top of 10th

Go Justin...glad you are getting another chance to go to the payoffs. Pure salary dump by the Twins..well, The Pohlads do love their money
  14. rickyriolo
well, The Pohlad's do love their cash

I would have taken Xavier Avery for Willingham. We need an extra outfielder for the upcoming series in texas and beyond. Willingham is not part of the future can what you can while you can
  16. rickyriolo
yes, the Twins need to keep all the .211 average hitters they can find.
  17. rickyriolo
Plus tickets are only $7.00 per game, general admission and sit any where you want

i think i will have to travel over to AZ to watch some "real baseball". I can't watch the big club any more it is way too frustrating & i am drinking way too much beer. October 8th-November 16th is what it looks like..
  19. rickyriolo
After seeing that line-up posted, i have to ask "Are the Twins tanking the season now in order to get a better draft position??"
  20. rickyriolo
Also thinking it is the A's that claimed Willingham...up to TR now to get it done & slash another $8 million off the payroll ( 1 mil this year & 7 mil next year)
  21. rickyriolo
Jason Kubel DFA'd by the Arizona Diamondbacks......Do the Twins have any interest????
  22. rickyriolo
Twins front office missed the boast on Willingham. Many said he should have been traded last year when his value was the highest..Today, what is he worth?? me...very little
  23. rickyriolo
Can we just sign a free agent pitcher who hasn't blown out his shoulder?? stop with the dumpster diving please
  24. rickyriolo
Bottom Line: Twins are re-building. Bringing back an aging Morneau to play 1st base will only lead to more stagnation. Need to go younger & cheaper
  25. rickyriolo
The only everyday starter I see on the Twins is our catcher Joe Mauer. everyone else--not so much
