Good for Wallner! Everyone remembers their first!
  2. Mortimerkenny21
Well I will just listen along today and take it for what it is. I really do hope Varland & Wallner have a great day though. We'll celebrate the moral victories because that might be all we can enjoy instead of an actual victory.

    Cave pulls through for us!
  4. Mortimerkenny21
    So much for McKenzie's 24 pitch 1st inning...a 6 pitch 2nd inning! Cripes!
  5. Mortimerkenny21
    Yes.

Reassurance runs are what gives us Twins fans comfort.
  7. Mortimerkenny21
    Where's our reassurance runs???
  8. Mortimerkenny21
This will bring me comfort as I lay my head to rest tonight, thank you.

I've only got radio, was that a pretty nice catch by Cave??
  10. Mortimerkenny21
As predicted, Gordon home run!!! Yeeaaah Buddy!!
  11. Mortimerkenny21
I'll be pumped if Bundy make's 7 innings, but he's going to have to be a little more efficient in the coming innings. Even 6 IP would be great if he keeps the Run(s) down.

I'll join the small crowd for the game thread. I might not have a lot to add but I'll be following along. Sanchez and Gordon hit HR's tonight...maybe even see a big hustle on a Jake cave triple! Twins 7 Royals 2. Go Twins!!

No one ever says "I want to be an armchair GM when I grow up."

You know I get Jake Cave is just below the cusp of MLB talent. But man what a likable guy and just busting his balls any time he gets a call up. and I realize that doesn't win games. He looked like he was running from live gun fire trying to score that run. He contributes.

What a poop stain of a game.
  16. Mortimerkenny21
    Signs of life!
  17. Mortimerkenny21
Lol, I know it would be tough for him to go incognito.
  18. Mortimerkenny21
    Astudillo.
  19. Mortimerkenny21
Jimminy Christmas that got ugly at the end! And some bad boneheaded plays/baserunning! But a win against the damn Yankees..I'll take it. Winnah!
  20. Mortimerkenny21
Gio's single followed by a El Gary homer would be sweet!
  21. Mortimerkenny21
Holy mackerel! Talk about fashion! I wonder if you could find the bird dress at a local TJ Max?? Asking for a friend.
  22. Mortimerkenny21
That was a quick 1st! 20 pitches between both pitchers.
  23. Mortimerkenny21
Arraez & shine. Unfortunately not at this at bat.
  24. Mortimerkenny21
    Celestino!!! Whoop whoop!
  25. Mortimerkenny21
They pulled LaRussa from managing duties due to health conditions after the last loss. Poor guy probably not fit for duty anymore. Doctors advised him not to manage.
