  1. If Berrios or Mejia isn't ready now, I don't know what an extra 2 starts is going to do to get them ready. Wasting starts on a guy who is almost guaranteed to be bad instead of giving Berrios his chance is just so disappointing.
  2. If he's going to the bullpen, I'm fine with it, but he's basically only started in his career.
  3. So Andrew Albers to Pat Dean to Adam Wilk. What a joke.
  4. I've watched it less and less. At least they still have PTI and Highly Questionable is really funny even though they know very little about sports.
  5. Good day for the minors, besides most of the good performances coming from non-prospect type guys.
  6. So are the Royals too good to start their games at 7:10 like everyone else?
  7. I'm not surprised by Eddie Rosario being low on the list. I think he's a good hitter, but it's mostly been soft liners and well placed ground balls for his hits so far.
  8. I was surprised by Polanco too, but I think it has to do with him hitting a lot of pop ups so far.
  9. I still have hope for Kohl Stewart as a pitcher, but I wonder if a Brandon Weeden type of career is a possibility for him.
  10. Yeah no one is worthy of being called up right now.
  11. Jermaine Palacios is a real bright spot so far this season. The Twins could use some more high upside position players throughout the system.
  12. Right now, I would think it would be Vargas, but mostly to play 1B. I'd rather see Palka, but another left handed hitter isn't really needed right now. This becomes more interesting for Palka and Granite (when healthy) if Buxton and Rosario continue to hit in the .100's.
  13. The White Sox starting outfield all have the last name of Garcia. It will be the first time all 3 starting outfielders had the same last name in MLB history.
  14. Twins catchers know how to take a walk. Mitch Garver has taken 6 walks in 3 games, for a .714 OBP.
  15. I doubt he was hinting at Haley. He is the long reliever on this team, so he's going to pitch multiple innings at a time in situations like the one on Saturday.
  16. I want to see how Duffey does in this relief role so I'd leave him there. I'd let Breslow go. The different arm slot might work, but he hasn't been good in years.
  17. The part about the awful outfield hitting can be viewed as a good thing when the team is 5-1 despite that.
  18. Great day overall for the organization. Nick Burdi back in action this season is good to see, striking out the side.
  19. Besides the great pitching, Jorge Polanco looking really good both in the field and at the plate has been great to see, and Sano looks more like the 2015 version.
  20. Derek Holland is starting, so a good day to give Castro and Mauer a break.
  21. Dozier Grossman Buxton Sano- 1B Polanco- SS Kepler Escobar Giminez Rosario That's a good looking lineup.
  22. He's facing the right team to get on track. A mediocre veteran tonight and then a Double-A pitcher tomorrow. Too bad they won't get to see James Shields this series.
  23. Hopefully Gordon gets SS at least 75% or so of the time. The last thing the Twins need to do is develop another 2B.
  24. Not a ton of talent here, but the two middle infielders have shown they can hit and should be fun to watch.
  25. Well Vargas hit just .233 in 402 PA at Rochester last year, and he also hit .179 in winter league. I don't have much confidence in him at this point.
