Colabello hit a rope to left center that was barely cut off by Trout

If Dougie B can somehow get Mauer to the plate...

    Well played, Mr. Bernier

This is absolutely absurd. Not only have the ads continued to appear for me, but they are the ONLY ones I get now. The ads are still being run, without a shadow of a doubt. Notice the 7/21 Minor League Recap Article in the corner. The ad is still being run, and I find it completely ridiculous. I can't even click on half the articles anymore. This is beyond frustrating. This is beyond baseball

    Sano with a 4th inning grand slam! 1-2 on the day, 1HR 4RBI 0K 1BB

I just want to say this is maybe the funniest thread I've come across since joining the community. I just wish Joe's sideburns were a little bit longer

Thanks a lot for this article, it's great to read about some of the guys who don't get a ton of attention. I know I'll be paying a lot more attention to the name "Grimes" in the CR boxscore now

I cannot believe that I am commenting on this again. This is unbelievably infuriating. PLEASE discontinue these ads, I spent a considerable amount of time clicking around on this damn site only to encounter this Toyota ad at least a half dozen times blocking my entire screen. I'm not even opposed to ads! I understand their importance! For the love of God please, please PLEASE do something to stop this entirely invasive advertisement.

It's early on, but I'm happy to see that some of the BPA just happens to align with glaring need in this draft.

Yeah, as much of a free spirit as old Terry is, I could think of more willing partners for a three-way.

I appreciate that you took the time to look at this issue-- which, by the way, I agree, is an issue-- but this would have been more aptly titled as an apology to Astros or perhaps Marlins fans. Mauer, likely a future HOFer, is an enormously gifted player whose talent is universally recognized. I don't see the Twins as beneficiaries of the rule at all. Mauer is talented enough to consistently make AS rosters in the future, regardless of how rosters are chosen. Because of him alone, I just don't see how the Twins would be beneficiaries of the rule.

Would Arizona even take a deal of Perk Doumit and Duensing for Skaggs? I wish their system was deeper because Kevin Towers seems like a real bonehead

I'll post it again, because everyone should read this article if they have an opinion on Perkins: The Mets and Twins Should Remember Joakim Soria | FanGraphs Baseball There's a great breakdown by Dave Cameron-- and wow is all I can say about the results. Aside from having already believed that shutdown closers are unnecessary luxuries on losing teams, I have to say this article put things into perspective for me. The nature of success for many guys, especially pitchers, can be fleeting. I believe now more than ever that Perkins has to be traded, assuming of course that there is quite a bit of interest in him on the market and the quality offers one would expect to arise therefrom.

Not gonna lie, I read the thread title and laughed that this could be a two-part series
  24. B Richard
The area doesn't deserve a FO and team of this quality

Looks like I got here just in time
