  1. I'd go with Dozier. I always complained about his batting average, and this year he brought it up a lot. Kudo's for him.
  2. It is one of the worst, but the pitching is the worst ever.
  3. That's interesting. I didn't see the pinky finger but noticed the wrist angle right away. But man, it would take some fantastic eyesight to see that and get back to the release point in a fraction of a second.
  4. He was safe, got the back of the plate, but bad throw by Esco. Buxtons throw was just as close from center.
  5. I think the rhyme or reason with Polanco is see how he fairs. Not much to judge him by if he didn't play there in the minors, and he seems to have a decent bat, so no better time to get extended time at ss and see how it shakes out.
  6. The Packers since I was young, long before there were Vikings. But I do root for the Vikes when they aren't playing the Pack. Used to go to a lot of Vikings games out at the old Met. Many fun times!
  7. Sorry, but it'll be us obnoxious fans heading to the Super Bowl this year.
  8. I'm torn between trading him or not. But I certainly don't want to see another season like this one. So, if we keep him, he can play an adequate 2nd base and provide much needed offense. If he goes, we'd best get a top arm, and lose some offense. The to be named powers of this organization just may make changes none of us have imagined. As it seems we do over-value some players where the rest of the world might not. It should be a very interesting off season with a whole lot of head scratching, and disagreeing on TD for sure. This place could blow up.
  9. He's earned it, if not this year, other years. I hope he gets 40 ab's at least and has some success. Some years I get a bat signed by team members, always get a few extra, though when you get to 28 or so names it gets really crowded. I didn't this year but a buddy did, and late as his was almost filled I told him to get Beresford, if for nothing else but to give him some respect. So he did. Probably the only team signed bat with James on it from this spring.
  10. Dozier is just unbelievable right now!
  11. Keep Santana. Next years starting rotation: Santana Someone not here now " " " "
  12. Put me in that group, I read the entire thing, and then wondered why. I've found this year the most enjoyable way to watch these games is wait for us to get a lead. Then go do something else feeling good. The longer I wait to find out the final score the longer the good feeling lasts.
  13. Good for Wimmers! I was at the Miracle game where he walked so many, and hit the backstop with at least 6 pitches. One batter made contact, hit it to his feet and he stood there and did nothing. I really doubted this day would ever come, so good for him.
  14. It's a lot easier to get a triple to right/right center.
  15. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. At least the new GM has a wild card to play with.
  16. Plouffe's error really got under Gibson's skin. Next pitch cookie, then a 4 pitch walk. It's still eating away at him, and me. HE'S GOTTA GO!!!!!
  17. Pluffie doing his best not to be traded.
  18. Shakes: Malone to DL and Pat Dean coming up. Back in the old days in downtown White Bear Lake we had a place called Dean's Ice Cream. Great shakes.
