    I played a round of golf with him in one of the Twins Charity Golf tourneys. It was a blast.

    I agree, pay the man, he's valuable. Especially if Sano is extended, then you have to extend Esco, as who knows where Sano's head will be.

    I don't care to lose Kepler. Been watching him since he was 15, it would be hard to see him go.

    I didn't care to lose Randy Rosario, he seems to be the best on the list to me. I really liked his stuff.

    We should of traded him to the Yankees last year when they were interested. He would have thrived in NY.

    I really thought Mauer would win it this year. Why the snub?

    Buxton's and Mauer's defense certainly can't be overlooked. Mauer saved a ton of errors over at first base, and he hit as we know he can. I'd rate Mauer higher, but do agree on Dozier.

    Not getting the other 2 runners in, in the first hurt us bad. A 5-0 lead can't be lost to a 5 run homer. How bad were we with runners in scoring position? This game just had the feel that we'd need to score alot of runs to come out on top and it didn't happen. That's a good team we lost to and they could go all the way. I sure enjoyed these writeups Tom, Thanks for all the hard work. It was an enjoyable season for sure.

    Well kind of a let down to end it, but not a big surprise. What's the odds on improving by 26 games next season?

    I'd give Sano a shot at dh, maybe he'll connect. The one who looks lost at the plate is Vargas. Not sure I'd even carry him on the roster.

    All those who put the loss on Molitor for not pulling Colon sooner should tip their hats to him today for letting Gibson continue.

    My mother is in a nursing home in Ft Myers. I've been getting updates on thier plans. At first they planned to evacuate, but this morning decided against it. Good thing, I can't imagine a bus full of 80 and 90 year olds in their conditions taking a long bus ride.
