    14 million on 2 starting pitchers? you looking to resign marquis and perhaps clemens...a starters going to cost 14million for 1 and maybe more...if your looking at a front of the rotation guy

    we cut 18 million from last years payroll and none went to starting pitching , you think that if they dumped justins 14 million they would spend 14 million on pitching???

    if the phillys took hermsen and hernandez , i'd trade for him , but i would talk to the dodgers 1st.see if they want lee for wheeler?the twins would pay about 7 million of lee's contract this year then trade him this winter...if we were to draft wheeler in 2013 we would end up paying a 7 million dollar bonus any way

    we have seen to many on the cheap signings for washed up pitchers...go big or stay home ..if we arnt all in trade off everyone including no trade claus joe mauer....

    didnt bill smith deffer all trades and transactions to his advisor? terry ryan....and isint this the same guy who claimed we were not in a rebuilding year but competing for the title? isnt this the same guy who traded jim thome for 20,000 dollars then 1 year later the phillys got baltimores #3and #8 prospect ? isnt this the guy that got go-go for 2 time cy young winner johan santana? terry ryan has not made 1 good trade ever , he did make 1 lucky trade in aj ....terry ryan felt and stated boof bonser was the key player in that trade...and he has lived on that 1 trade since.. terry ryans drafts always comes down to this "who can we draft that will take less money? who is hurt? who has slipped in the rankings? terry ryan and radke need to go along with the rest of the 3 stooges and the @ss clown posse....they draft soft tossing controll pitchers ...why? they are cheaper to sign .... they draft toolsly outfielders why cheaper to sign .....they draft hurt players,why they are cheaper to sign.... time for new blood new leadership and maybe a new owner....

    2 things....1) after what ryan got for frankie , do you trust him to get anything for morneau? after all he got 20,000 for thome and 1 year later the phillys got a #3and a#8 prospect for him 2) do you think ceo jim pohlad would allow 15 million to be spent on a pitcher?, ryan will probally offer baker a contract and maybe bartolo colon 1 also, if he cant lure jaimie moyer out of retirement ..

    is why i said incentilve ladden contract... in june or july ,you wouldnt want a scott baker to be called up to replace jaime moyer or jason marquis or posible replace bartolo colon..you know the guy terry "curly"ryan will sign on the cheap and try to claim is just the inning eater we need to become a respectible and feared rotation....? and as for his nickname, curly its because he is 1 of the 3 stooges that pohlad owns

    once again terry"curly "ryan proved its better to be lucky then good...when he was trading a.j. he wanted boof bonser, not francisco , he stated with out boof i dont make the deal...he then stated boof was the key player of the trade....now he had 4 free agents, he offered all 4 pay cuts to return and only matt"the crapper" accepted, so ryan had to replace power pitching and try to fix a middle infield....he got lucky with willingham. doughnut(doumit) was an acceptible player to obtain , but marquis? carroll zumyaya(i liked this signing,but expected him to reinjure himself)terry ryan did nothing to fix the twins he came in got bargin basement band-aids over the hill players and sold the kool-aid to the fans and players.... its time for pohlad to be held accountable for his team...spend some of the 62 million they earned in 2011 and with payroll cuts and attendence twins llc are in line to profit even more this year....so go get a pair of front line pitchers resign baker to a incentive ladden contract hope diamond and the other 2 kids improve and that liam hendriks makes the same jump that scotty did this year...but we need 2 ,read it 2 front of the rotation pitchers.. the only credit i give ryan is for sifting through the garbage pile to find some arms for the pen ....

    it was the twins way , in signing soft tossing (88-91 mph) pitchers believing that a staff of brad radkes would take them to the promised land and would'nt cost as much as real pitchers..... not saying brad was a bad pitcher, brad pitched till his arm fell off, but not every pitcher is a brad radke and 5 brad radkes just dont cut it on 1 team .....as for signing and drafting they have done terrible for the last decade only having 1 good season . the twins had a chance to spend money signing international players this spring , and adding to a barren minor leaque , but instead they waited till there was a spending limit... pohlad will always take the cheap way over and over again . the way rich people get rich is by not spending money, they expect to be over paid ,but short change there own employees.. this off season terry ryan offered all 4 of the twins free agents contract , but each had to take a pay cut .....only matt "the crapper" accepted this is the twins way....

    ulger,scotty ulger? just saying that name makes me vomit a little in my mouth...why bring or give this team to a gardy guy? tk handed the team off to ronny"the waddler" gardenhire,who continued preaching the company propaganda...if you are going to make a change... start with "shoeless" david st pete (shoes cost money skin grows back free) then replace terry"queball"ryan ,the game has passed him by, he now is only the puppet selling the kool-aid. as for ronnie "the waddler" gardenhire, most sang his praise . to me he was a good coach , just not a good manager....time for him to be voted off the island and he needs to take his entire @ssclown posse with him ulger liddle vavra anderson.....as for replacing them , if im ceo pohlad, i would look at other teams, like tampa bay,and try and pry away some of there front office ...as we know jim pohlad wants to put the best product on the field as long as it doesnt take his time or money...
